Clitoral hummer waterproof - clitoral vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Boot Kitty

The Clitoral Hummer works wonderfully for solo play - exactly the kind of play I seek. It's marketed for use as a clitoral stimulator and a g-spot vibrator, but I have only used it for the former. Both its scoop and its nub work great for stimulating the clit. I prefer to use the nub, switching between a thrusting motion and leaving it stationary for a bit.

The hummer's made up of very smooth plastic. I don't find that it adds anything to the stimulation, but it certainly is nice to feel when you take it out of the box. The contours of the toy's shaft fit almost perfectly into one's hand. It is odorless, so there's no icky smell to kill the mood. In general, it's a sleek, aesthetically pleasing toy.

The toy's design is quite lovely. The main features of it, as mentioned earlier, are its inward scoop and, on the opposite side, a protruding nub. The scoop is supposed to rest atop the clitoris, providing a more 'spread out' vibration, and the nub is for use on the g-spot. For me, I found the scoop to be a tad underwhelming. It's nice for starting out a session, but it takes only a minute or two before I switch to the nub, whose direct approach provides the kind of vibration I need to get anywhere.

As someone who's only experience with sex toys is using this toy, I can't say how it stacks up in size compared to any other toy. All I can say is it seems a reasonable size - not too big and not too small. Perfect for a beginner like me. It's easy enough to hide, but it is certainly not "discreet". It is probably not a toy I'd bring with me for travel.

This toy performs great, especially considering its price. One generally believes that the cheaper something is, the lower quality it will be, but the Hummer blows that rule out of the water. The vibrations, which are concentrated in the head of the toy, were enough to bring me to climax without any additional help. My favorite part about the toy is the wheel on the bottom used to control the vibration speed. It was nice to gradually turn the wheel up for increasing pleasure. Love it! Also, the toy isn't very loud. It can easily be heard through bed covers, but, well, I've heard cell phones vibrate louder than this beauty.

As its marketing implies, the Hummer is waterproof. And, true to its claims, the Hummer does indeed hold its own when water becomes involved. I noticed no difference in performance, but I used it in the shower, not while taking a bath, so maybe that has some bearing on it.

My only complaint for this toy is that the batteries are a tad difficult to remove once you've put them in. They don't slide out easily. But this is a minor thing. It's more of an inconvenience, not a downfall.

It's pretty easy to take care of the Hummer. A quick scrub with antibacterial soap and water does the trick. For storage, I simply placed it in a drawer, taking the batteries out beforehand, just in case. I haven't tried this out with any lubricants, but then, thus far I haven't needed them.
