Clitoral hummer waterproof - clitoral stimulator by Cal Exotics - review by Willowe

Despite several design flaws with the Clitoral Hummer I have to say it's still one of my favorite toys, especially considering the cost. It has an indent on one side designed to cup and surround your clit and a small nub on the other side for more direct stimulation. I have not noticed that the vibrations are stronger in one area or the other, but I find it easier to handle the toy when I'm using the indented side. The small nub is supposedly good for g-spot stimulation however personally it didn't do much for me and the vibrations where definitely weaker when the toy was inserted.

As the name suggests, the vibrations are more of a deep "hum" instead of buzzy surface vibrations, which is definitely a plus for me. They are controlled by a dial at the end of the toy. The highest vibrations were surprisingly strong, but the toy is also the loudest then. I had an A/C running in my room and even with the toy under the covers I could still hear it. It's not something that could be heard through a door, but if you're using this in a roommate situation I'd suggest either avoiding the highest setting or waiting until they're gone for the weekend just to be safe.

The toy itself has an insertable length of about 6" and is just about 1.5" in diameter. The shape itself is a bit weird, with the pronounced indent and nub, but it is a nice pearly white color. It takes 2-AA batteries and I've found that it doesn't tend to use up batteries quickly like some other toys do. However getting the batteries out can be difficult; you really have to shake the toy to get them out, and it usually takes me several tries to get the end back on the toy after I change the battery.

The Clitoral Hummer does seem to hold up well in the shower, and it is very easy to clean. However I've noticed that after about 5 minutes of use it becomes visibly warm to the touch, which is certainly understandable, but after about 10-15 minutes it's hot enough that I don't feel comfortable continuing to use it.

With so many small design flaws this toy definitely isn't for everyone, however I still enjoy using it. It provides great clitoral stimulation with both the indented and the nubbed side, and can be used on other parts of the body as well especially nipples. It's definitely not intended to be used for long periods of time, but for quickies or foreplay it's perfect.

I wish there was an option for "I have mixed feelings about it now," because that's how I feel about the Clitoral Hummer Waterproof. I stand by what I said in my original review- for the price, it does provide good clitoral stimulation and I still use it from time to time.

However, its flaws are starting to become more obvious and more annoying. It seems to be going through batteries a lot quicker now, and the overheating problem is just ridiculous. I don't want a toy that I have to switch out after ten minutes.

So, overall, while it still gets it's fair share of use, I'd probably recommend looking elsewhere if you want a longer-lasting toy than this.
