I purchased the Clitoral Hummer after being disappointed by a slew of clitoral toys that promised to rock my world, but clearly did not. The Hummer had the strong vibrations and safe material I was looking for. This toy helped me reach climax in no time at all!

The Clitoral Hummer is constructed from hard plastic. The surface of the Hummer is smooth, and pearly white. There is zero flexibility to the material. A benefit to purchasing a product constructed of hard plastic is that there is no smell whatsoever to the material.

I personally did not have to use any type of lubricant, but it is safe to use water, oil, and silicone base lubricants with this toy.

The Hummer includes two features that make it ideal for clitoral stimulation. The first being a nub that concentrates the powerful vibrations onto your clit. The second, an interesting scoop feature is intended to provide strong but indirect vibrations to the area surrounding the clitoris. This feature is best for a slower orgasm, or more of a teasing feeling. Both features are wonderful, depending on what the desired result is.

The Hummer is long in length (about 7 1/2"), so it is very easy to hold and maneuver. This prevents you from having to twist into awkward positions. The vibrations on the hummer are a high buzzing sound, that can be heard through a closed door, so don't use this if you don't want everyone knowing.

Because the Hummer has such a rigid and unforgiving design, along with the hard nub, I would not recommend it for vaginal stimulation. However, because the nub is so hard, it makes it excellent for clitoral stimulation, and gives you very direct, very strong vibrations. The nub has the potential to be very painful if thrusted or inserted too enthusiastically at the wrong angle. For the same reasons, I would advise against using this toy for anal use, not to mention that it does not have a wide base. In the case that you do intend to use it for vaginal stimulation, the circumference of the Hummer is 4 1/2".

The vibrations on the Hummer are controlled by a turning dial at the base of the toy. The vibrations vary drastically from a quiet hum to a loud, very strong vibration. The settings are not distinct from one another. The Hummer requires two AA batteries, that so far have lasted quite a while for the amount of use I have gotten out of them.

This toy is waterproof, and is sealed against water by a rubber o-ring. My experience with this toy in the tub was less than spectacular. Being submerged in the water seemed to absorb some of the vibrations and take away it's "wow" factor.

The vibrations on this toy are quite loud, so if you are looking for something discreet, this is probably not it. However, the strength of the vibrations are well worth the noise.

Maintaining this toy is a snap because of the non-porous surface and the smooth texture of it's design. I have been using a simple antibacterial soap and/or toy cleaner to clean this toy. After it has been thoroughly dried, I store it in a cool dark place along with the rest of my collection.

The Hummer comes to you packaged in a blister package. There is a cardboard insert that is adorned by a woman in a tight, white, vinyl jumpsuit, which I found very amusing. The back of the insert has an image of the toy with arrows labeling the features of the Hummer. The package also includes a small piece of paper that instructs you on how to remove and insert batteries. This package could easily be used to store the toy between uses if you prefer.
