The best use for the Clitoral Hummer is for solo play, preferably in bed. This toy is waterproof and performs fine in water, but it takes too long for me to be able to get off to make it practical. This one is specifically designed to stimulate the clit, but it's size and material also make it usable for insertion. This toy is small enough and delivers vibrations in a manner that it could be enjoyed during couple play as well.

The material that this is made of is hard, smooth plastic. The smoothness of the material makes rubbing it against yourself quite nice. It slides easily along your skin. One side of the tip has an indentation designed to cup your clit so you can nestle it up against the toy for maximum vibration exposure. The other side has a kind of knob that allows you to deliver a kind of pinpoint vibration while giving a slightly different texture. There is no odor from the materials of this toy at all.

First I have to start off by saying how hilarious this toy looks. The top literally looks like the mask from the villain in the Scream movies...it even has the tip of the hood that he wears. This made me laugh and almost dismiss this toy when I first saw it...but then I thought...hmmmm Scream?....maybe this design will bring ME some screams...

Now on to the design. I think the design is a good idea, the little cup does allow you to surround your clit on three sides with deep intense vibrations. The cup is long and deep enough that even with it pressed against you there is some wiggle room for those who like some friction with their vibrations like I do. If you flip the toy over there is a small nob at the very tip of the toy. It seemed to me that the vibrations were almost more concentrated there and it allowed for more movement to create more friction. I think the nub would also be good for G-spot stimulation, but as I have not had the pleasure of my own G-spot discovery, I can't comment on that. I have future plans to begin the search and will keep this toy in mind to experiment and include that in a future follow up. As far as the overall dimensions of this vibe, it measures 6.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide.

The operation of this vibe is super easy. The bottom unscrews for placement of 2 AA batteries. Once the bottom is replaced, you simply twist the dial on the bottom to turn it on. There is only one vibrational pattern for this vibe, steady hum (it IS called the hummer, lol) but the intensity of the hum can be changed by twisting the dial farther to the right. The vibrations of this toy are more the deep thumpy type as opposed to the fast surface type. When I tried this in the shower, it brought me to the comparison of the feel of lots of water pouring down, like if you're at a water park and under one of those umbrella shaped things that has water running down the edges constantly. Most of the vibrations were in the tip but you can feel slightly less intense vibrations in the bottom as well. This toy is very quiet, it wouldn't be a problem in a multiple person living situation. I had no problems with using this waterproof toy in the water. It performed at the same level as in bed.

Since this toy is made of hard plastic, care and maintenance are a breeze. Cleaning with soap and water or toy cleaner will get the job done. I store my Hummer in a drawer that I keep lined with a clean handkerchief along with other toys. It does not attract line or pet hair like some other materials I have used. There are compatibility issues with lubes for this material...so lube up and have fun!

I have actually owned this vibe for a while. I personally prefer the faster, surface vibrations to the deep, humming, thuddy vibrations so after I first got this it quickly moved to the back of the drawer. I recently saw someone else review this one which reminded me that I had it, so I thought I'd give it another try. While this vibe has a lot of positives, it still won't become one in my regular rotation.

My experience with this toy was pretty good. I turned it on to the highest setting at first and then backed it off a little. The tip definitely vibrates at a higher intensity than the handle end. When I placed the cup part over my clit, I could clearly feel deep vibrations. They were strong but felt like they were massaging more than just my clit. I prefer a little friction and pressure myself, so I added that with some movement of the toy. After a little bit of this I turned the toy all the way up and kept working. I did eventually get off, but it took a bit longer than it does with some other vibes, ones with the faster surface vibrations. I also tried this vibe in the shower. I first used the cup side and then switched to the nub to rub faster against my clit. As with the use in bed, it still took a long time to get to that point. In fact, it took so long that I gave up. My fingers were pruney and the bathroom was steamy, I was just out of patience. So, while this toy works great for stimulating your clit, it will work better if you have time to relax and focus in bed or if you prefer deeper, heavier vibrations. I think this is a good vibe; it just isn't really for me.
