Pocket rocket by Doc Johnson

The Pocket Rocket was the second sex toy I ever bought (the first being a plain, hard plastic vibe) and is still one of my favorites today. Manufactured by Doc Johnson, it is hailed as the "best selling mini massager in the world". The main reason why is because it is powerful, small and discreet. Most importantly, it get the job done.

Created from hard plastic, the Pocket Rocket is durable, non-porous and easy to clean with mild soap and water. It has a non-phallic, simple design that is shaped like a small travel size flashlight that takes one AA battery and has only one speed. Despite being small, however, it packs a powerful buzz that works wonders on the clitoris. The vibe's head has a removable cap that features three metallic beads that are designed to stimulate the clitoris from all sides. It works great to tickles the sides or top of the clitoris, or by applying direct contact.

I've had my Rocket for several years and it has yet to slow down or break. I have tried several Rocket knock-offs that haven't stood the test of time as well, or had as powerful vibrations. One actually broke the first week I used it.

There are many newer and sexier models on the market now (that I have on order!) that take the Pocket Rocket's great design and make it even better. These include ones that feature several speeds like the Pocket Rocket Plus, a waterproof design such as the Water Dancer, or are quieter like the Silent Rocket. The Rocket is louder than some vibes, but I don't normally notice it when I am in the middle of an orgasm. I guess if I had to worry about noisy roommates, it would be an issue. Although the Pocket Rocket is not the prettiest vibe, it is one of the most popular and for good reason. I can't wait for my new Rockets to arrive so I can do a comparison review and hopefully find a replacement for my well worn friend.
