The original pocket rocket - classic pocket rocket discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Faerotic Me

When I first purchased this item this past fall, I was very excited to give it a try. Sadly for me, I had never experienced an orgasm with clitoral stimulation and I was wanting to try something new to see if it would work. After a few uses and adjusting to this pocket rocket, I found that it does indeed stimulate the clitoris and give an amazing feeling that can lead up to orgasm.

I also was surprised to find that it had to be put together and taken apart with each use. It did not stay together very well, and when trying to connect the pieces it would often be crooked or not quite connected right. It was very frustrating to try to use it as it took time and planning ahead. And if you are in the mood and want to quickly grab a toy, I would not recommend this one.

This pocket rocket has a lot of power and pretty heavy vibration, but is also quite loud. I found I had to wait until my kids were in bed or otherwise occupied to use it. I was afraid that they would come to my bedroom door and hear it. Even when used under the covers, I could hear it quite well. So if you have kids, make sure your door is closed AND you have it under the covers . . . or they are asleep!

On a positive note, it took a bit of getting used to at first, but once I figured out the best way to use it on my body - WOW. Definite lead up to orgasm but again, very loud.

After occasional use over a few months, the plastic broke and now it won't stay together; poor design. I had to store it separated, the battery is hard to remove for replacement, and it does not connect together very easily. A good product, but poorly designed for long-term use.
