The original pocket rocket - classic pocket rocket discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by LadyUnicorn

This is a great little vibrator. This would be a good choice for a first vibrator. For more experienced users, a pocket rocket vibe is a good addition to a toy collection and is great for solo use as well as with a partner. However I will note that this pocket rocket might not hold up to the most experienced toy users expectations, for a few reasons that I'll list below, but I want to stress here that I think it's a great toy. It's small enough to use on the clit during sex without any discomfort (in fact it feels pretty wonderful). Really with a toy like this the possibilities and uses are endless. I have used it anally as well (note: ONLY on the exterior!!!!! NEVER INSERT this toy anally!!!!) However it feels great on the exterior asshole as well as the clit and offers a small amount of penetration that's just enough to stimulate the vaginal opening which is something that feels great to me.

The toy is white hard plastic, about 4 inches long, with 3 smooth metal nubs on the top. The metal nubs do a great job at spreading out the vibrations around your clit if you get them in the right spot, it's just heavenly! The vibrations are very quiet. Actually this is the quietest vibrator I've ever owned. The plastic material feels smooth and silky, it's really a very nice texture. At the base there are some ridges for gripping which makes it a little easier to hold if you use lube (which is always a good idea!) The toy opens by twisting counterclockwise, and inside there is space for 1 AA battery, which is pretty convenient. You turn it on by twisting it the other way. This is pretty standard with most pocket rockets and other vibes this size. When not using this toy you need to be careful to close it enough so that it is closed, but does not turn on and go vibrating off your night stand (don't laugh, this has happened to me! ...ok you can laugh a little...) I will say that it is pretty sturdy and can survive multiple falls off of beds and nightstands, due to its shape it tends to like to roll away ;) Also just to note, the toy originally came with a clear hard plastic cap that fit over the tip where the metal nubs are. I never used this because on the top of the plastic cap there are very hard plastic bits (spikes?) that did not look very comfortable. The plastic cap is removable and it seems like most users got the most out of their toy after removing theirs, but go ahead and experiment. Some people reported feeling pinched by the spikes, however, which is the reason why I was hesitant to use them so I am glad that I did not. Also on another note, this toy is NOT WATERPROOF. However it can be cleaned with a damp cloth or mild soap if needed. I usually use baby wipes as they are what I have around.

This toy is moderately strong when the battery is fresh, but not quite as strong as other pocket rockets I've used. However it does give very nice smooth vibrations which I like, and it does get me to orgasm very easily. I may very well be nit picking on this. I don't think my clit is overly desensitized, but I do like my vibrations a tad bit stronger than what this toy provides. Also while the battery never seems to actually go dead, it seems after about 20 minutes of straight play there is a definite change in the intensity of the vibration, (becoming even less intense) which is also pretty frustrating, replacing batteries that aren't even dead yet. I haven't heard anything like this on any other reviews, so I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed anything similar? Please let me know if I'm crazy!!!! Really though those two things are my only complaints about this toy.
