Toe curling fun!
Absolutely, positively the best for intimate stimulation...too intense? Use a sheet or soft piece of material, maybe even a towel as a buffer. If you find it bulky or too hard to handle, most likely you aren't using it correctly. As for its massage quality, I couldn't say as every time I break it out, my tense shoulders are the LAST thing on my mind. Highly recommended.Published: January 2, 2012
Pros:
extremely powerful, can achieve orgasms in seconds, and doesn't use batteries.
Cons:
short cord, bulky
Ok, so the "Magic Wand" (goofy name) is marketed as a vibrating massager for "muscle pain and fatigue". But I don't know how many people are using it on sore necks and shoulders. It won't help you pull a rabbit out of a hat, but it will probably make you very happy between your legs.
This really is the Cadillac of vibrators! However, having used 4 inch to 10 inch vibrators in the past; this wand was a bit of a surprise when it arrived. It is about 15 inches long and runs on electricity. There are 2 speed settings - High and Low. Most people, I was told, never use the high setting; as low is stimulating enough for them. The head is made of a spongy white material which is about 3.5 inches in diameter and vibrates at a very high speed. This is definitely not one of those vibrators you can insert into your vagina, and I am not even sure if that would be safe as it runs on electricity. Most people use it held against their pubic area, sometimes even with a towel if the vibrations are too intense. I did not need the towel though, and since the material is spongy it has not harmed my skin. The attachments give this vibrator another dimension as you can actually insert them into your vagina. So much better to be able to pinpoint your pleasure zones!
If you consider the cost of batteries (even rechargeable's), this is a nice vibrator to own as it doesn't need any. Portability can be a problem though, as it is too big and not very discreet. Using in the shower is also out if you don't want to risk electrocution. However the shape is not like a regular vibrator and it can actually be used as a massager too. So even if found/handled by someone else who is unaware, you can get away by telling them it is your massager! It is not a very quiet vibrator (although almost no vibrator is quiet especially when there is lubricant involved) and the cord is not very long, so you need to have an outlet close to your bedside or an extension cord.
This is my favorite vibrator especially with the G Spot attachment, but I find it hard to carry when traveling.

Good alternative to Hitachi?
-
I had a rechargeable mini fairy wand, but last week it ended up breaking, and now I'm desperately looking for a similar type wand massager. I've looked at a couple, but I'd really like some input on which massager people are recommending. Thanks!
-
I have 3 wand massagers that I use at times. There are things I love and hate about all of them. The hitachi is the most powerful one, but it is so loud! The Wahl 2 speed is also great. It is the quietest and I love how rumbly the vibes are! But none of the attachments are quite right for me. If I could only have one wand I would get Inspire. It has a button that you press and release when the power is at your desired strength. In stead of just 2 speeds like the hitachi or the wahl you have control over how much power you want to use. The Inspire has a detachable silicone head. My complaints are that it gets hot after about 20 minutes, at at the higher speeds it gets pretty loud. Your toy was rechargable, but the wands I listed all plug in and have more power. Good luck with your replacement!

Yeah, the rechargeable wands tend to get really hot too, plus it would die after 20-30 minutes, so I needed to stay near an outlet at all times. Noise isn't really an issue for me (at least not right now). The one I had before had an adjustable wheel for vibration intensity, but to be honest, I always turned it all the way up and never changed it, so maybe I don't really need adjustable speeds.
I've never tried any of the detachable heads. Are they worth buying?

Will it be out of stock until the sale is over?
-
Ekk! It is out of stock again! I keep missing it. I finally have enough to buy it but I guess the discount made it sell like crazy. Does it typically not come back in until the sale is over?
Panicing a bit because I'm moving soon and will need to purchase it within the next week. -
You can open a support ticket from your account dashboard to ask about it. If they know when it'll be coming in they'll be happy to tell you.

Perfect! Thank you!

Are there any stronger vibrators out there?
-
Quote: Are there any stronger vibrators out there?Probably not for less than fifty dollars. A friend of mine is saving for the Sybian or The Rock Box. I can't speak from experience about either of those vibrators though. However, if you want something similar to the Hitachi, I would suggest either The Wahl or a Fairy Wand. I own the Hitachi, Wahl, and Fairy Mini but highly suggest the Wahl. It is the most rumbly of the three and is nearly silent.

I don't think theres anything we haven't thought of LOL. I have seen it all after seeing some of the toys on this site. Its insane. I would REALLY like the prices to go down LOL...Would that be "making them better"? LOL

Hitachi Wand Vs. Acyvube
-
Is the hitachi better than the acuvibe for anyone who has had the chance to try both? I'm under the impression that they are essentially the same thing but maybe I'm wrong...
-
I have had both, and they are really both very good toys. The main difference really is that the Acuvibe is rechargeable and can be used cordless, while the Hitachi must plug in to work. Personally, I think that the Hitachi is slightly stronger, and it has definitely outlasted my Acuvibes - I have had two, and they both broke down after about six months or so.

The shell is starting to crack but it still functions great, I just wanted to know if we should switch when I do want to buy a new one. More powerful sounds good :)

The Size !!!!!!!
-
Does the size get in the way ??????? It's so BIGGGGGG........
-
In the way of what, exactly? It's not really a toy for couples play and actually it's not even designed for masturbation but has become the Holy Grail of vibrators through decades of word of mouth.
-
Quote: Does the size get in the way ??????? It's so BIGGGGGG........It's really only meant for external use. So if you are talking about insertion it probably would be a bit big.

Universal

Is there a head set for universal attatchments anyone knows of?
-
There are a few. If you search the site you can find a couple.
-
Quote: Is there a head set for universal attatchments anyone knows of?I don't know if I understand the question, but the attachment we bought for our Hitachi is a "universal" attachment that we bought from another store. It's too "floppy" for me, but is a nice g-spot attachment, or would be if it was a little stiffer!

Bullet Vibes that rival the Hitachi Magic Wand
-
Hello, everyone!
Recently I've sold my Hitachi to a friend, and I've been on the market for a new clit vibe. I'm one of those girls who has a "clit-o-steel&quo t;, so I can't really get off unless I have something powerful on my clit. I bought a LAYAspot by FunFactory, thinking it would be a nice, powerful bullet to use when I'm with my partner, and I realized that it barely even packs a punch!
I guess I'm being a bit picky. I don't want something that's as strong as the Hitachi's HIGH setting, but something kind of inbetween the two, one that has a few nice, strong modes.
I was looking at the more expensive clit vibes- JeJoue's MiMi and Lelo's Siri. Do you think that they would be strong enough? Do you recommend anything? Thanks guys! -
Quote: Hello, everyone!U had the flexi anal rod prior to the Hitachi..It is strong as well, and it probably right between the hitachi hi and low... I actually prefer the two setting on Hitach..SHIT and OHH SHIT.. The flexi rod has about 4 if i'm not mistaken..Plus it is flexible as well.. Costs about 25.00

Attachments for the Hitachi

Okay I am in love with my new Hitachi. Now it needs some accessory's. Any help would be wonderful.
-
eden has been out of stock on the attachments since I picked up the hitachi wand for my wife. I am hoping they are back in stock when I place our next order. I would love to add to our wand.

Hitachi
-
This is by far the best purchase I've made. My wife has a tough time reaching orgasm and needs the intense vibrations for her to climax. The Hitachi far exceeds this task, she doesn't use any other toy now, always reaches for the Hitachi. Just need to get her the G-spot attachment and she is set up. Thanks again.
-
I completely agree. The Magic Wand is the best vibrator ever.

Have you ever used a wand?
-
HI I was wondering if you have ever used anything like the Fairy Wand? I have used the baby fairy wand but its tiny... the size of the larger ones kind of intimidate me ... what are your thoughts on them and should I get one?
-
I dislike most of them intensely. They're too strong, too big and they make my whole vulva - as well as my hands - feel numb.
Many folks love them, though! -
I used the Wanachi Mini, which I really liked. Unfortunately it fell apart, it seems mine wasn't the only one either. I did contact Pipedream though and they seem eager to correct this problem!
