I know a lot of couples watch porn together, but would it bother you if they watched it by themselves ?
I have no problems with porn-viewing; I do it myself and with partners.
If a long-term, cohabiting partner watched porn alone, I'd be ok.
Three things I'm not ok with:
1. Compulsive porn addiction (dealt with someone who had it...awful addiction)
2. Porn that is what I feel to be destructive, misogynistic, or detrimental to society IN MY OPINION. I watch kink.com stuff, and to the uninitiated might look like all of the above, but I research and read up on the adult industry, and I give it the green light. Certain other porn, not so much. I could go on for paragraphs on what I consider destructive/anti-femin ist etc, but let's leave it there for now.
3. Using porn instead of me. Partner for awhile had money issues (I was making more, he was making little, which I guess guys can get odd about sometimes...old stereotypes about breadwinners) and didn't sleep with me but instead looked at porn and also half-naked high school girls on his Facebook friends list (he's a radio guy and has way too many friends, but still, ew!). He did this even when I grabbed for him one morning at 7am, and he knows I hate morning sex. So yeah, that was an issue.
If it's not what I consider immoral/unethical and simply supplements our sex life, I'm happy to find a partner watching porn. I love typing in something in the status bar and seeing they've looked up some kinky porn...I often watch it and text them right after. With a shared computer, of course.
What someone does on their own, personal computer, whatever. But if it's teen girls who are REAL and on a friend's list, no way. But on a shared computer, I don't want to see things that offend me.
It sounds like a lot of rules, but it keeps my life simpler. Coupled life is so...complex. Easier to avoid hurt feelings or fights this way.
