Hey Lil' Missy and RomanticGoth, just so you know, Ansley (formerly named Stormy) is no longer here and we now have no forum moderator or indeed anyone as an admin whom we can contact for support. All the people we had were fired last June and Stormy was the only replacement until she, too was let go a little while ago. No one has heard a peep from the company about the situation, nor has there been a single replacement to do what Stormy was doing which was everything, basically, from forum moderator, to review oversight and also our only contact for questions of any kind. Our only option now, is to open a support ticket only for order questions, or contact Ilya (Fred's son) who does not know much about how the community was run before, though sometimes he will respond to emails and try to help if he can. You can always ask me any questions about what is different or how things are going now. I welcome you both back and boy, could we use more returning members cos it's been pretty slow here for a while. It's nice to see friendly faces! (send me a PM if you want to ask any questions.)

I knew they were purging the site of many posts containing criticism, but i didn't realize so many of the innocuous posts were removed as well. This is part of the problem for people returning because they cannot find info on what happened and then they run into conflicting info due to all the old, outdated info still up *sigh*. Hopefully they respond, because I really did love editing reviews, it was very fun. It was upsetting when they limited us to only a few reviews a day, because I liked doing that.

JS250 hangs out from time to time, though isn't as active. There is a good core group still here but nothing like it use to be and the well oiled machine is down to a few nuts and a bolt.

...I'm not going to read through the whole thread right now, (Can't sleep so I figured I'd check in here and see what's going on.) but it is really nice to see more people coming back. =3
The new point system isn't all that bad really...15% is better than nothing, and there always seems to be some sort of awesome sale going on so if you couple that 15% with sale prices, there's a whole lot less to complain about.
I still love this place for the people (okay...the epic selection of glass that I have yet to find many of the pieces anywhere else certainly doesn't exactly hurt either. xD ), so as long as the forum exists, I'll keep coming back to it. <3
Once we're settled down in our own place, I'm actually super excited to start reviewing things again and trying to get back into a relatively decent activity level on here.

I'm the new kid on the block and haven't been here very long, so I never experienced the old level of activity. I have been informed by others what that old activity entailed and how the point system was abused resulting in tons of fluff. Right now, the forums seem slow. I'd like more activity, for sure, but it is what it is. I suppose I'd rather it be slow then to be a raging pool of garbage posts. So far, I have met a few people and some have actively been awesome in reaching out to me. I'd much rather have these interactions than tons of meaningless ones. If there was a way to get a bit more activity without sacrificing quality, that would be great, but if more activity means lower quality, then it isn't worth it.
