I understand your disappointment, but yeah, that's how it is now. Fortunately, we can still use the 15% and of course, the best deal is to use the 30% buyout option. That way you get 30% off the order, as long as you write reviews on the items. And you can still take 15% off that order in points. now that is a deal, especially for items that normally can't be discounted like that, such as Fun Factory.

What happened was that too may people scammed the system and there was not enough oversight to curb the abuse. Unfortunately, all the people who did nothing wrong got caught up in the aftermath and lost out on a great system. Everyone wishes they made the redemption of the points for more than 15%, but it is better than nothing.

Another thing you may not know is that the return policy has changed as well. You can only return defective or damaged items and you only have 30 days now to do it. The actions that gain you points have also changed, but you probably already noticed that.

I know how you feel. I have about $50 available, but it's gonna take me forever to spend it. I just graduated from college and my husband is still in school, so our money is limited. I wish I could use my points for at least 50% of my purchase.

Go to your dashboard to see which activities still earn points.

We do, yes. There is still a limit on what we can get on the forums. I think it's still 1 point for up to 10 replies a day, though.

Yeah, I'm with you on the Amazon thing. I've seen some better deals on there, but I still won't completely cut out my activity on EF. I'll attempt to adapt to this new system as best as I can.

Also, let me just point out how much it irritates me to see the "You Just Earned 5 Points" for posting pop-up now that I know I'll never be using them.

i joined for this reason also back in 2012..i didn't use the site for quite some time and decided to come back. found a lot of the things you can do to earn points had been taken off.i did not know they also only account for 15% now. that sucks wonder why they decided to cut so much.

People were abusing them. : /

Yes, this is true. As far as getting points for posts, now you only get so many before they cut you off for points . If I got a point for every post I either started or participated in, well... I'd have more points .

I understand writing reviews and articles are the way to get lots of points. More than one can use though. Ugh, maybe.

I will be surprised if I can actually use all my points too, which sucks. I earned them so I feel like I should be allowed to use them. Unfortunately Eden's dealt with the matter of point farming poorly in my opinion. I understand they can't let us get everything free, but if they'd let us use even use our points to cover 30% of our order I'd be much happier. I think that would be fair and work well enough for everyone (the customers and Eden's alike).

The Eden's toys are not bad, but their packaging sucks. I think that being allowed to use more points would be awesome, and definitely make it easier to buy more. With the free gift that they're currently offering I'm considering another purchase, though I don't have much money and I just put one in like a week ago...
