Nine Valentine's Day roses for kitten
I fell in love with The Roses Flogger when I first got on Eden, and I love it even more now that I have used it and have used it. This is the perfect thing for the elegant dom or domme.Published: February 26, 2011

Over the years, I have started to collect floggers. Yes, I do use them on my subs that are into that kind of play. I even have a few very light ones that I made myself. I also have some amazing custom made ones that have been made to work with my small size and hands. I even have one that was designed to make it easy when my wrist is acting up badly.
I have floggers made out of leather, non-latex rubber, chain and even fleece and re-lace.
I lave floggers with a passion. And I do love using them. Usually I will just use one flogger, but I do Florentine (two floggers at once) with my smaller sized ones. I would die to be able to do double Florentine, but I'm not that go at it.
When I fit got onto Eden, I found the Roses Flogger and totally fell in love with it right away. Onto the wish list and into the assignment cart it went.
The Rose Flogger is all made out of leather. It's a total of 32" with nine rose tipped cats. The handle is about 8" long and there is a leather wrist strap that is actually big enough to put around a very large wrist.
As soon as I opened up the box, I could smell that the leather is very high quality. It has that sexy lather smell that I just love so much. The colors are much more vibrant than the photos on here show them to be. And that is far from a bad thing. I actually like the colors much better this way than the darker ones.
The handle is beautifully woven with leather and has a nice heft to it giving the cats good momentum.
The cats, or the strands, themselves are really long, much longer than I thought they would be. They are so long that I can't do proper wrist work with it. But I can still really swing it with a lot of force. No Florentine flogging with this one. Oh well.
The roses have far more bite than I thought they would have. They also have an amazing thud to go along with the bite.
The only real problem is the length of the cats. I can't even have it in my flogger holster without it dragging on the ground. But not that I don't have a sub that would love to be seen carrying that around.

I'm still having some problems with using my Roses Flogger in the way that it was designed to be used. That is more about my size than anything. But it still have it out and displayed in the bedroom.

Very pretty flogger! How are the roses holding up? I'm curious if they hold together well through the impact play?
redvinylkitty: they are holding up wonderfully. they haven't even deformed at all. but you do need to pinch them a little to get them to open back up.
