Roses Flogger way too long for me!

This flogger was not what I expected at all even with this being my first time seeing a flogger, let alone using one. I expected tight rope with firm material around the roses to make the experience somewhat painful, but to my dismay it hasn't done that for me. I will continue to try it out and get my spouse to use it firmly to try it out as well and will let you know more at my 2 month follow up review on this roses flogger.

Pros

Pretty roses.
Nice grip on the handle of the flogger.
It has a wrist type band to hold to use.

Cons

Way too long for me.
Seems a bit flabby in the rope it's made of.

Experience

I have never used a flogger before and after reading the first book of 50 Shades of Grey, I said to myself I will try one out for the heck of it and see how I like it, so I got this one. I was expecting a firm, yet soft flogger but tried it on myself a few times to be very disappointed for the high price it has. I will definitely keep trying it out more to see how much my opinion on it changes, but I'll be buying a lot smaller lengthed floggers in the future.

I don't really think that basing your experience with a flogger off of that particular book is a good estimate of how the flogger works. It would be helpful if you described more about the sensation you received from using the flogger after you tried it multiple times with another person.

The reason I got it was from ideas in the book, not the experience from book. I plan on doing a video review to show how it works, and to show the length of it. I will re-edit / update as needed for it, as well as 2 month follow up. Thanks

First - its a ROSE FLOGGER! Do you really expect to get any sort of pain from that? If you want pain get yourself a non-party favor toy like a real leather flogger. This is one of those white elephant party gifts, a gag gift, something you don't actually expect to do anything useful. This is why that stupid book make people who really do live the lifestyle so angry - ITS NOT ACCURATE!

I've never owned one before this flogger, so yes I plan to buy a real one with my next order I make.

And I wasn't trying to make anyone mad about the book. I simply said it had some great ideas I wanted to try w/ spouse.
