This beautiful flogger is wonderful for setting a romantic atmosphere with the sadist/masochist you love. You won't be disappointed by anything about this, least of all its craftsmanship.

Use

This toy is wonderful for light flogging and teasing. I haven't had the chance to go all out with this yet, but I'm pretty sure the results will be nice. It's on the heavy side, with the roses at the ends making it harder to swing and taking a lot of the energy to distribute it so it won't be quite as painful as a normal cat-o-nine tails would be, but it's still a lot of fun.

Design / Craftsmanship / Size / Material / Features

This is really a beautiful piece of leather artistry. Time and care went into its creation, and it shows. I love the smell of the leather; it's faint but it's there, and I think that's important. The size of the handle is nice, and it's firm and will feel nice in hands both small and large. But most of all I love the design. It's the whole reason I was attracted to this piece, and it's actually my first flogger. I absolutely love it!

Performance

I absolutely love the design. It works just as intended, and it also makes a lovely accessory at Renaissance Fairs and Dagorhir events. I love the feeling of this; if you do it just right it actually can be quite stingy and not just thumpy.

Care and Maintenance

Being leather, this won't be too hard to care for. To keep it nice you might want to consider hanging it, especially since it would look lovely on a wall, or putting it in its own box to make sure the roses don't get smashed.

Follow-up commentary
Don't get me wrong. I still love the looks of this, however craftsmanship needs to count for something, and after only a few uses (admittedly some were at parties and it got used kind of hard), some of the 'petals' have started falling out. The neat thing is that they're actually little hearts. I'm just not pleased that it's falling apart after I spent so much money on it!
