I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try a ball gag but is afraid. This has won us over and I might just be able to convince the wife to go with a solid gag now.

Use

I would recommend this ball gag to anyone who wants to try a ball gag but doesn't want to lose the ability to breath normally. My wife is deathly afraid/paranoid of inanimate objects in her mouth, so a solid rubber ball gag would be down right turned down and refused. With this product we can compromise, I get the control, and she gets to breath. As part of a light bdsm kit this would fit in perfectly, but anyone who wants the full restriction would find this gag lacking.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

The ball itself looks and almost feels like a simple plastic practice golf ball. I can imagine that some people will find it slightly flimsy, and for any rough play this might be too light for them. The leather strap with the velvet lining is simple enough and makes it soft enough to save you from complaints. The metal rivets holding the strap together are simple and effective. I'm not an expert nor into the heavy bdsm play, but I did find it hard to get the gag on tight the way we wanted it to with the holes provided, so I had to make a small hole to make it fit her head tight. It does provide a strong and well designed belt clasp but I felt a small tweak was needed in my case.

Performance

In action the ball gag works just as expected. I haven't used many before but I think the openings make it easier for saliva to form, since she can't create a seal be prepared for some drool. The opens also allows for more speech and vocalization from the individual gagged. This along with other light bdsm products have become a strong part of our kit and might move to a more solid gag, if only to experiment.

Care and Maintenance

I don't know about taking it apart to boil, but when I have needed to clean it I just run the tap on hot and give it a good rinse. It's not like its a butt plug or a double ended dildo, I cant imagine it needing a lot of cleaning unless you're using it on multiple people or don't use it for extended times.

I cant remember what the packaging looks like, but I wouldn't leave it out for the in-laws to see that's for sure!

I still use this product when she lets me. With no real complaints, I think this product is amazing and it's a great part to anyone's toy box!

I believe we washed it for hygiene reasons when we first got it and that removed the majority of the new plastic smell which wasn't bad to start with, it has since lost any smell or flavor.

    • i think it would be perfect for me. i cant do a solid ball....who else cant?
    • I CAN, but prefer not to. I actually have the one that has an "o" ring that goes in your mouth, so I can breathe through it.

      I have this but the strap kind of broke eventually :/ we're looking to get a more heavy duty one. It's a shame they don't make this in higher quality
