Use

The Acute by Tantus is a curved 100% silicone dildo that is designed for g-spot stimulation. The girth of this toy is great for beginners, but the curve action is great for all. This toy has a nice flared base which makes it great for anal play and is harness compatible. This dildo is made of a flexible material that makes thrusting with it worry-free. You can enjoy Acute alone or with a partner, or heck with multiple partners.

Material / Texture

Acute is made of Tantus's premium 100% silicone. It is smooth with a few gentle ripples on the body that aren't prominent enough to be felt during use. The most pronounced difference is between the tip of the dildo to simulate the head of a penis and down to the shaft. The rest is mostly smooth. There is no smell or taste to the material. When squeezing the Acute, there is a small amount of give and the body is fairly flexible. A texture queen will not be satisfied with the gentle texture of this dildo.

Design / Shape / Size

The Acute is curved to allow for g-spot stimulation and is small enough to allow for vigorous thrusting. The total length of Acute is 6" with 5" of that being insertable. The length is not long enough to give concern of bumping the cervix too much, but even if you do, the material is soft enough that it shouldn't hurt. The circumference of Acute is 4" which means it's a little on the small side when compared to a lot of other toys.
Anyone but size queens could thoroughly enjoy this dildo. The smaller circumference also makes Acute a great option for anal play, if that is something that you or your partner enjoy.

I enjoyed the shape and design of the Acute, but it didn't result in a g-spot orgasm for me. I have found that I personally prefer a more firm pressure for stimulating my g-spot and didn't get that from this material/design. To be fair, the Acute does have some stiff (literally, haha) competition since I also just received my Njoy Pure Wand.

Performance

The best thing about Acute is that it is small enough to allow for vigorous thrusting. For me, this is necessary to really be able to enjoy this dildo. Another great feature of this dildo is the body safe material that its made out of. When using lubricant with this dildo, it becomes amazingly slick which also helps with the thrusting.

In my opinion, the not so great feature of the Acute is that it isn't firm enough. It's no marshmallow, but it's pressure when in use is more like a firm soft feel than a firm hard feel, if that makes sense. I think part of this could be the shorter length. There is adequate length to grip and thrust the Acute, but not enough to get a good amount of firm force behind it. The flared base does work great as a handle though.

Acute is harness compatible, but I have not yet obtained a harness, so I can't comment on the performance in a harness.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone products don't play well together. What this means to you? Water-based lubes only and no silicone on silicone storage. Keep your toys separate so that you can enjoy them longer. There's nothing sadder than a deformed dildo just when you're in the mood for it.

Silicone is a lint magnet, so you may want to store your toy in a storage bag to keep it lint and dust free.
To clean your Acute, you can use soap and water, a 10% bleach solution, boiling, or the top shelf of the dishwasher (sans soap). If you share your toy, especially if it is used for anal play, please either use a condom or sterilize between uses.

Experience

I had wanted the Acute for a while now, but waiting paid off because Tantus recently released the limited edition neon colors. I got the neon green Acute which is BEAUTIFUL. But then again, green is one of my favorite colors. The shape and material of the neon green Acute is the same as the normal colors.
The Acute feels great for penetration, it just didn't quite do enough for my g-spot. I still found that I enjoyed it for internal stimulation while using a vibrator for clitoral stimulation. The Acute isn't long enough to provide any stimulation clitorally for me. The flared base proved to be a great handle for thrusting and I think the curved design will work as intended for many.

When I first tried this out I was a little underwhelmed because of the small girth. Since then, I've explored anal more with plugs and dildos and the Acute has become my absolute favorite to use for anal insertion. First, the lime green color I have is so freakin bright and amazing looking when in use. I love the look of it! Second, the curve is so perfect for putting pressure on my g-spot from the other side. I have had some extremely intense orgasms with this inserted. And the best part is that the smaller girth which was a bit underwhelming for vaginal use is comfortable and filling for anal use. I love it now and would be sad to part with it if I ever had to.

I have been looking at this as well. Disappointed in that it didn't do much for your G spot as the angle looks just right.
I am thinking of using the Acute with my harness; my b/f should enjoy it! He love the Leo which may not be as firm as the Acute.

I've read the same thing about the pressure not being firm enough for the g-spot, such a shame. It's such a gorgeous toy. When used analy does it slip out...it doesn;t have a neck to keep it in of coruse but I thougt maybe its squishiness helps.
