Review of Acute - G spot dildo

Without a doubt, the Acute from Tantus is a toy best suited to beginners, unless of course you--like me--are into some lovely anal play. Let me preface by saying that I was really excited to buy this dildo. Super stoked. I'd seen and heard about it for a while and had made it my mission to acquire one. I'd heard that it was a great effortless dildo for G-Spotting, that it would grind wonderfully against the G-Spot with little effort at all, and at that point I was sold.

It didn't work for me. However, I can see how this would work wonderfully for others. This could be a fabulous G-Spotter, but my body just isn't compatible with it. Now, to rebuff what I said previously, this dildo is AWESOME for anal play. It's seriously the shit, and totally safe with the flared base, which is O-Ring compatible. I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did when using it anally. It's seriously superb, not too big and not too small.

How do I count the ways I love Tantus' silicone? I can't, It's perfect. Acute has no smell or taste, and it's completely hypoallergenic. This toy is extremely smooth and firm, and doesn't have much texture or seams at all; so those who are sensitive to seams and texture will appreciate this. The body of this toy is very firm and slightly pliable. There is a bit of drag on the silicone, but it goes away completely with lube. Tantus really does a bang up job when they make their toys.

The Acute's design is what "makes" it. It's sleek and ergonomically designed to target your G-spot. It didn't hit mine, but my G-spot is particularly shy. The size is perfect for anal thrusting, and for beginners this would make a lovely vaginal dildo. It measures in at 6", with 5 of those lovely inches being insertable. The slightly realistic shaft of the toy is slanted at an acute angle, hence the name. The circumference of the toy is 4" with a 1 1/4" diameter.

As previously stated, my favorite use for this is anally. It feels wonderful when thrusting in and out and sometimes I just have to stop for a second because it just feels so so great. The size is absolutely perfect for anal use. As far as its performance vaginally, it doesn't feel bad or anything--I was just a bit underwhelmed. The curve isn't nearly enough for me to be able to access my G-spot.

The upkeep on this toy is super minimal, some hot water and antibacterial or mild soap, and you're pretty much done. For extra cleanliness, toss it in a pot of boiling water for about 10 minutes or so, and it will be squeaky clean. Tantus' ultra premium silicone is unique in that it can actually be used with some of the silicone lubricants on the market, along with being extremely compatible with water-based lubes. Although, when trying a silicone lube out with a Tantus toy be sure to spot test the area first. I know the Tantus website endorses some of Pjur's lubes.

I keep mine in a plastic bag inside of a Sugar Sak, and it fits perfectly. Alternatively Tantus' toys are actually fine to store together without bags protecting them from each other; they are unique in that sense. I don't store mine in its original packaging because I find it a pain to get into when I'm in a hurry, so the bag method works out well for me.

It comes packaged in the typical clear non-discreet plastic Tantus packaging which is sort of a pain to get in and out of, but does well to protect the toy when storing it inside its original package. On the side it gives a bunch of information about Tantus, such as:

Along with the list of other things, Tantus has very informative packaging, and it really makes you feel good when purchasing a Tantus toy, just because there's so much peace of mind involved.

When I purchased this toy and used it for the first time, my initial thought was "That's It?"; Now saying this I had been using it vaginally which was the error of my ways. This dildo is absolutely fabulous when used anally. It's the perfect size, shape; everything.
