Acutely Aware

Nice as an anal toy. Handsome and hypoallergenic. Acute is great for beginners, whether coupled or solo. This toy is FIRM and there's not much "give" to it. While the curve might be pleasing to some, I find it a bit uncomfortable for long-term use.

Use

As a male, I can only speak of anal play. I see how this toy could be a great prostate massager, but it’s too firm for me no matter what angle I put it in at. If you’re more into girth and length, I suggest looking elsewhere. I use it mainly to warm up to bigger toys or as a quick fling in the shower, if I’m feeling feisty.

My wife picked this out for us to use however we please. Acute is 100% silicone and, despite its small stature, holds its shape and is incredibly firm. In other words, your orifices will move before it does. Don't expect any "squishiness," either, as this dildo's diameter will, for the most part, stays constant throughout your experience.

Acute is about 6 inches in length and 1-1/4 inches in diameter, so don’t expect much if you’re into bigger toys. It is harness compatible, and with a 1-1/4 inch O-Ring it won’t slip out because… well, did I mention this toy is firm?

This makes a great toy for couples who want to venture into anal and/or strap-on play. Seeing as it’s silicone, you can sterilize it with anything from soap and water to boiling it over the stove. I work in manufacturing and believe me, silicone can take a major beating. It’s the best around, and if you’re looking for good, clean fun, so is this toy.

Material / Texture

Firm, firm, and firm. Pliable but only with force. You should not expect much give from this toy. It's not glass or metal, obviously, but it holds its shape very, very well.

Expect nothing but smoothness from this toy. There are no seams or ridges. If anything gets you it's the curve, and that, ladies and gents, is why they call it “Acute.” Sharp in its own rite.

Some people might like the curve but I find it a little uncomfortable. I would prefer something a little more pliable. This toy creates more of a jabbing sensation than I would care to have.

Design / Shape / Size

The design is fantastic. This toy is beautiful and tantalizing. The curve is a little extreme but I think most people could handle it.

The size is pretty small and makes for a great beginner's experience.

Performance

I'm a little disappointed in the performance of this toy. For the price you should get more. Personally I find use of this toy to be uncomfortable at times and I only ever use it to warm up to bigger dildos.

Care and Maintenance

MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE you use only water based lubes with this or any silicone toy. Cleaning is a snap, from anti-bacterial soap to boiling water, silicone can take anything you throw at it. No matter the material, always clean your toys before and after use.
