Hitting the Sweet Spot

If you have been engaged in the search for your G-spot and haven't had luck, the large flared end of the Sugar Drop is the dildo for you. This dildo is made of safe materials and has enough length to allow for thrusting and movement of any kind.

Premium Silicone Material, Stand Included, Bright Color Selections

Use

The Sugar Drop is a premium silicone dildo shaped for G-spot stimulation. This can be used alone or with partners any where you want to take it. It is silent and safe for water since it has no motor. The shape is somewhat discreet because it almost looks like a regular massager. I think the smaller end of the Sugar Drop could be used for anal stimulation because the G-spot curve is also flared, though I did not test this out.

Material / Texture

Sugar Drop is made from wonderful smooth silicone that is firm enough for thrusting but flexible enough to bend or twist if needed. There is a small amount of drag to the material if you run it along dry unlubricated skin. There is no smell or taste to the material. I think this material could be enjoyed by both beginners and advanced users. There are some circles on each side of the smaller end that make me think of bubbles. They provide a good place for grip and can be felt slightly during insertion.

Design / Shape / Size

Once inserted, I love the design and shape of Sugar Drop because it hits allll the right spots. But...getting it inserted and even removed wasn't so great. The widest part of this dildo is the very tip that you are going to be inserting and the edge comes to almost a fine point, so it was sliding a dull rimmed item along the outer edges of my vaginal opening. It wasn't really painful, just a little uncomfortable. And this is after a clitoral orgasm and insertion of a smaller vibrator. Once it was inserted, there was no discomfort, but removal had the same sensation. Sugar drop is 8.5 inches long with 6.5 inches insertable and has a circumference of 5 inches. This dildo also comes with a little stand to sit it on while it's not in use.

Performance

The best thing about Sugar Drop is how full it makes you feel and how it makes missing your G-spot next to impossible! As I mentioned before, the flared end is a little to wide for me and maybe a little to finely flared at the edges. Beyond that, Sugar Drop does what it is designed to do: it finds your G-spot and allows you to thrust until your heart's content.

Care and Maintenance

Since Sugar Drop is made of silicone, care is simple. It can be cleaned with soap and water, a bleach and water solution, with toy cleaner, and by boiling for 3 minutes. The stand that is included with Sugar Drop makes storing it easy so long as you have somewhere to set it. It kind of makes it look a little more discreet, like an art piece. If you don't use the stand or need to keep your toy hidden, make sure you keep it from coming into contact with other silicone toys. Silicone tends to attract dust, lint and hair, so one way to protect against this and silicone to silicone contact is with the use of a ziploc bag. As with avoiding silicone toy contact, you also need to avoid using silicone-based lubricants. Water-based lubricants work great with this dildo!
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Experience

My absolute favorite thing about this dildo is the color. I love the color green and I love that it isn't ANOTHER pink or purple toy. As I mentioned earlier, the flared tip was bit much for me. This may be a personal anatomy or sensitivity issue that you may not experience. I'm not much of an insertable user most of the time, I prefer clitoral stimulation, so often smaller toys are better for me. Even with the slight discomfort I experienced with insertion, I still plan to continue using the Sugar Drop. This is the first toy that I have used that made me certain that I had found my G-spot. As soon as I had it inserted, I could feel it pressing against it. Thrusting the Sugar Drop and moving it around provided lots of stimulation as well as having a vibrator on my clit. I found I could press the vibrator against the end of the Sugar Drop and feel the vibrations transmitted lightly throughout the dildo. I recommend Sugar Drop for anyone who is having a hard time finding their G-spot and has tried other smaller toys. This one will not fail you!!

I love how this comes with the little stand. That's the best part.

I don't understand this product at all. I've read that the flat end is not meant to be inserted, but to me (and nearly everyone else, it seems) that end seems to be the most desirable for inserting. The other end is just...plain and boring. It's like a backward Ella. Bleh. I hate it! It's too bad, because all of the colors are gorgeous. Great review, though, thanks

OMG, I totally didn't realize that the wide end was meant to be the handle. I feel like an idiot! But that does explain why it wasn't so fun to insert. And at least I'm not the only one, lol...So keep that in mind when you're reading this review...I used this as a double-ended dildo. Now I want to go do more exploring with the narrow end...

I wanted to try this because I thought the wide end is the g-spot end, but then I read reviews about it being too large to insert. I might have to try it now that I know that the other end works well
Great review !

I love the colors.

It is so confusing. Which end is supposed to be the one to use?! Gah!

In your follow up (or if you edit it), can you talk about the texture on the non-superbigflared side? I've heard it's irritating.

Don't feel like an idiot, because a LOT of us (myself included) assumed that large flat end would be insertable. Apparently it's just awkward. Let us know about the bubbles! I also heard they are irritating.

Some other reviews say it's impossible to hit your g spot with it. Interesting.

I finally caved and bought it in green. It then immediately went out of stock. Are these getting discontinued because I can't find them anywhere else!

  • Boiling silicone/metal dildos = safe sharing without condoms?
    • If I boil a silicone or metal dildo -- or an anal plug -- would it then be safe to share with my husband without putting a condom on it? Since we are fluid-bonded, I'd hate to waste the money on condoms (they're not cheap!).

Also, if I use a dildo anally and then boil it, would it be safe to use vaginally without a condom? From what I understand, silicone and steel are completely sterilizable with boiling, but I want to be 100% certain first.

Also, can you boil Pyrex glass to sterilize for sharing? I don't yet have any glass toys -- a mistake that I will soon be rectifying! Using both anally and vaginally, as well as sharing, might be fun.
    • If you're fluid bonded, I don't see the problem. Why do you need to ultra sterilize it if you're already fluid bonded? Normal cleaning should be fine.. I'm not sure I'm getting the question though maybe.

Normally cleaning would not be good enough since I'm concerned about transferring bacteria (E. Coli) after anal insertion to the vagina or transferring bacteria from partner to partner (not usually a problem during vaginal sex since E. Coli is found in the rectum and digestive tract).

I had thought that boiling was sufficient to kill the bacteria on silicone and metal toys, but I read a couple of reviews on EF where the reviewer recommended using a condom on the toy ANYTIME that toys were shared. But I don't see why using a condom on a toy would be necessary after boiling.

Again, I thought boiling sufficiently killed the bacteria and effectively sterilized the toy to be safe for sharing. I assumed "safe for sharing" meant that, once boiled, no condom would be needed. Just wanted to make doubly certain.

I have the Sugar dildo and i like it very much. I'm using it only vaginally. I know this toy can be boiled to sterilize, should I do that every time I use this silicone dildo?

I think 'tis up to you. Soap and water really are probably fine. But if you are particularly concerned, boil away :)
    • It's not necessary to do it every single time, no. I'd say a good scrub with liquid antibacterial soap and warm water, and boiling it maybe every fifth time or so will give you a toy that'll last for years! Remember the water should be at a rolling boil (the bubbles keep the silicone from laying on the very hot bottom of the pot) and you really only need maybe 3 or 4 minutes in the boiling water before it's ok.
