NOT Slim
This product was NOT "slim" enough. It was a real disappointment since we were not able to make true use of this pricey purchase.Published: February 8, 2011
Pros:
The little vibrating insert is a pleasant surprise, not too powerful, but just right.
Cons:
A truly "slim" product, 1"-1.25" would be better suited for it's name.
We bought this toy with the idea that both my girlfriend and I would be able to enjoy ourselves. We were really excited about our purchase, as this would be our first toy that we would be able to use and enjoy in unison.
The easily removable vibrating bullet insert that comes with the dildo is a pleasant surprise, not too powerful, but just right.
While it looks like it would be a great deal of fun to use, we will never know.
Unfortunately the word "slim" was extremely misleading. This toy is not slim by any definition of the word. At least not for me or my girlfriend. It was an expensive purchase that we will not be able to use. We were disappointed to say the least! A truly "slim" product, 1"-1.25" would be better suited for it's name.
I imagine that my vagina is smaller and tighter than the average woman, as my girlfriend's vagina is a bit more capable of handling the size, but even then the toy was still too big for her and not at all pleasurable.
For now, this little "treasure" will be sleeping in our toy box.
Things to keep in mind: if you are larger than my girlfriend and me and you find yourself purchasing this item, please remember that this is a silicone based toy. Do not use a silicone lube, as it will start to degrade/melt your toy. This toy smells a bit funny, but I imagine you can wash the smell as well as the slimy feel away. I recommend that you let it air-dry unless you want towel fuzzies inside you the next time you use it. You can purchase a toy cleaner from anywhere (online or the sex store down the street) or just use good old Dial soap; it is antibacterial and it smells good.

She has done some playing with my butt but I don't know if this is really the best bet for us. Do any couples have experience with this especially with a semi-inexperienced guy? I would suggest getting a cheaper butt plug before dropping 100 bucks on this only to find out that you can only use it for pegging (not a purely bad thing but not what you intended buying it for). The sites are a little all over the place with dimensions but the buld end is 1 3/4 inches - which if you're an anal virgin would be quite difficult to handle.
Try getting the triple ripple . I've just ordered one bacuase of the fact that most reviews say it's great for "anal training" to help you get to the girth you want. If you can't fit that toy then it's only 10 buck you wasted instead of 100.

Though the strapless design is nice, it doesn't stay in for everyone. I think this particular model is one that a lot of people need to use a harness for for security.
Sizewise, it's a good choice if you already have some anal play experience. Have you used toys with a similar girth already? If so, this should work well for you.

Feeldoe slim vs. Share?

I'm wanting to finally get a double ended strapon soon, but I'm stuck deciding between the two. My goal is to have something slimmer on the receiver's end, and the feeldoe slim looks to be about the right size. However, the share's bulb looks like it would be much better for my wife, and it seems to taper down in size quite a bit.
So, which one would you guys recommend? Would the share be noticeably larger for me as a receiver? Should I just go with the feeldoe slim? -

The feeldoe is not really worth what you pay for it. The vibrator is minimal (while it last) and its hard for the receiver to be pleasured. Also, its very difficult to keep the feeldoe instereted into the giver. I believe you would be happier with the share!

Consider that the Share is larger than the Slim on the receiver's end. Did you also consider the Nexus Jr.?

Sorry to hear that it did not work for you. Still I would have liked to hear more about cleaning, the feel of the material (hard, soft) and how long the batteries lasted.
I hope you didn't purchase this just based on the name "Slim".
They call this the "Slim" because it is the slimmest of the Feeldoe products. With that said, I do feel that Slim is a good name for it, because it is slim compared to most double ended dildos available from other brands as well.
But, I do understand your frustration. Years ago I purchased a "Thin" dong (from another retailer) and was shocked when I opened it to find it was almost 2" in diameter. I learned my lesson.
Did you check the product specs before ordering? Most of the time Edens measurements are quite accurate. They have the Slim listed as 1 3/8" in diameter which is accurate for the diameter of the shaft, but the bulb on the givers side is actually 1 1/2" in diameter.
You don't state in your review if your problem is the diameter of the shaft, the bulb or both.
If the shaft diameter is too big, then you may have to stick with a traditional harness and dildo combination.
If the size of the 1 1/2" diameter bulb is the problem, you may want to consider the Nexus Jr. The giver side is only 1 1/4" at it's widest point. Additionally, the receiver side is also slimmer and softer than the Feeldoe. I'd also recommend a good harness with the Nexus though, due to it's design. We have the Feeldoe Slim and both the Nexus Jr & Sr. Of the three, the Nexus Jr with a harness worked the best for our needs.
I'm sorry the Feeldoe didn't work for you. I can relate. Hopefully, you'll have better luck with your future purchases. You may find the "view actual product size" tool on the product pages to be helpful in future purchase decisions.

Checking the diameter before you purchase is one of those lessons that I've learned well. Sometimes product names can be misleading. Sorry this one didn't work out like you wanted it to.
Even by your definition, I think you could still classify this as a 'slim' product as the product details list it at 1 3/8. That's only an 1/8 of an inch bigger than 1.25".
