When it comes to silicone, Tantus has some of the best feeling I have found. So when it came time for me to buy a new dildo for anal play I thought "Lets try something else from Tantus. I sure am glad I did, or should I say "The wife is glad". Her exact words to me were "Thanks for the new dildo!"

The Acute, strap on dildo, is another fine example of form and function for all types of penetrative play. The color, purple and black swirl, is just gorgeous. 6" long with 5" being insertable, it will hit all but the most deepest G, A or P spot's. Also at 1 1/4" diameter those that are just beginning and those that are more experienced can enjoy this dildo equally. The tip has a phallic shape but is more smoothed out than a realistic dildo would be (wife's favorite part). The "head" is off set, meaning that one side is smooth, while the other three side's have a bulge. On the shaft you will find the bottom smooth (holding with the curve up), and the top has four wave like bumps. The base is 2 1/2" X 2" and has an 1 1/4" neck.

We currently do not have a harness so I can not vouch for use with one, but I would say any harness with a 1 1/4"-1 1/2" diameter O ring would work fine.

The acute angle is where I would say this dildo excels, during use either on the wife or myself. The base is easy to hold and 'tracks' perfectly in my ass and her vagina.

I can not say enough about the quality of silicone that Tantus uses. Premium, food grade, non-porous, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic and Latex free, you can not ask for much more in a sex toy. This dildo has a nice shiny finish and only the slightest drag. Firm enough for thrusting but has enough give to make it less likely to hurt delicate inner tissues.

Cleaning/sanitizing could not be easier; boil, bleach or top rack of your dishwasher with out soap, all are suitable for silicone. I like to use Climax burst toy cleaner, it is quick and easy to use, and will only take a minute to clean your toy. Nice eh?

For lubes, the Acute is really good friends with water based, it does not play well with silicone lubes, it has a tendency to disagree and there is usually someone that gets hurt, the dildo.

The Acute comes in clam shell type insert, proudly displayed and nestled in a clear plastic box. You will find information on the company and the material. There are no naked bodies and what-not but you do see the toy, so for a gift I recommend some discretion when opening the wrapping. This holds true for travel as well, security will know what it is, so for plane travel, put it in your checked luggage.

Used vaginally on the wife, she just loved the Acute. She has a problem with toys that hit her pelvic bone too hard, so this was just the toy she needed. She also does not like firm pressure on her G spot, the softness and flexibility turned out to be a big plus for her. For me it also helped, I didn't have to worry about going to fast or deep. She really favors her A spot being stimulated with firm pressure and the Acute did just that. A big plus is the flexibility, I could angle the base so that it would also rub her clit.

After just three or four minutes of this she was putty in my hand, this was the fastest orgasm she has had from any toy and it has happened more that a few times. She has claimed it as hers and I have to ask her if I can use it for me.

I really bought it for me as it was recommended for good P spot stimulation. It delivers very good in that area as well. The size is great for me and has no problem reaching my prostate. I find that slow thrusting and a side to side motion worked the best. By angling the base towards my back, I received some great milking and a great prostate orgasm. The head is easy to insert for me but the wife had a problem putting it in while I was on my back. All other positions (on my stomach or in a doggie style) she had no problems, I think in those situations she had a better view and could angle it accordingly. Once again the flexibility of the silicone made it easier for the wife to "do me" with out worrying about hurting me.

The most fun time with this toy was the night before I wrote this review. It was our "toy" night and after some oral on the wife I used the Acute to finish her off. For my turn I, in turn, received some oral too. I asked her if she would also stimulate my P spot and she gave me a awesome climax with the combination of oral and the Acute dildo.

On thing about materials like silicone, glass and metals is they can be used for both partners with no worries. Just do not go from anal to vaginal without a cleaning in between.

The Acute is by far the wife's favorite dildo, I like it a lot too. (when she lets me use it lol) We both like the soft feel and it gives the wife great stimulation to her A-spot. I use it for warm up and the main course. It is a great versatile toy for both of us.

Still looks like new and the inner clam shell from the packaging is holding up well for storage. Even in the packed cubby in the headboard.

It is in the top three dildo's that we use. I highly recommend it for men and women alike.
