Tantus (Acute's maker) has never, ever disappointed me...But with Acute, I am truly impressed! I have several serious dildos, and Acute provides subtle g-spotting and fills me comfortably when I don't want to have to work to get it in.

I love when my Ashmadai uses Acute during oral; and that's pretty much the only time I'll use it as an anal toy (that is, under much supervision). The base is flared but there's a chance it's too flimsy to hold it from going on an unguided tour of my insides. My Ashmadai says I'm being overly cautious, so there are varying opinions out there. Just make sure you're well aware of where your toy is and where it's going!

Acute is also nice for long-term wear (if I feel like being filled for a couple hours) as well as solo play. It travels well, and I've heard rave reviews of its use for strap-on beginners.

Acute is a semi-realistic toy. The sparkling, swirling patterns and the subtle curve of the shaft are less realistic, which I prefer! It is made of smooth, supple silicone, and while it's not velvety, its consistency lies somewhere between firm and pliable, making it perfect for comfortable penetration action.

As with most Tantus products, Acute has no smell or taste, even right out of the packaging. They're also well known for their use of only the highest-grade, hypoallergenic silicone which is sterilizable (and therefore shareable).

The smooth texture, with even the tiniest bit of lube, creates a perfect, wonderfully slippery sensation. It just glides! It's a great texture to satisfy advanced users, and tame enough to entrance beginners.

I'm pretty sure this toy is called "Acute" because of geometry...That the angle of Acute is acute, or less than 90 degrees. It's this delicious angle that makes my new best friend so perfect for g-spotting. Sliding it in with the head pointing toward the front of my pelvis is just magnificent.

Clocking in at five inches insertable and one and a half inches in diameter, this toy isn't going to stretch you out. If you're looking for that beginner or moderately-full range, it's the perfect size. The smaller size also makes it great for thrusting for hours!

Acute didn't come with a special storage pouch, but those aren't hard to find if that's your fancy. It is discreet, easy to store, and fantastic for taking on the road.

The angle, texture, and size of this toy make it, overall, a winner. All dildos are no-brainers when it comes to using them, but I've never met a silicone toy that knows my body so well!

It is understated in a good way: it doesn't try to do extra; it's just fantastic at what it's designed to do.

As with all silicone toys, make sure you store your Acute so that it does not come into contact with other silicone products. That means storing it in its own container, like a silk toy bag, instead of in a box with other silicone toys.

On the same note, it is very important that you only use water-based lubes (my favorite with Acute being Sliquid's "Sassy"). Keep yourself and your toy safe and in great condition -- wash it before and after use with your favorite toy cleaner or just a little soap and water (rinse thoroughly!).
