Great but not the Best

While it did take me a little while to orgasm using the standard vibration mode, I would still highly recommend Liv to anyone looking for a quality stimulator at a fair price.
Published: February 20, 2010
Pros:
The best thing about Liv is the ease of use and the discreet size and sound.
Cons:
I would have liked if the "vroom" was a bit stronger, but Liv still got the job done!

Use

My husband bought this for me because he understands my need for a "wham bam thank you ma'am" moment. It is sometimes difficult for me to have an orgasm by sex or manual manipulation and I need something MORE. Well, Liv definitely did the job, though it took a little bit of time. I did not use it as a g-spot stimulator, though I intend to, I strictly used it for clitoral stimulation.

Material / Texture

The smooth velvety silicone texture felt great and did not catch on my skin. Liv was so smooth that I did not need to use any lube, though I believe this would work just as well using any water-based lubricant.

Design / Shape / Size

Liv's shape and size are perfect for beginner or pro and the 5 patterned button is quite easy to use and has a speed/ pattern for everyone. It is very slim and small enough to easily hide in a drawer or under the mattress and travels very well. It is also super quiet and discreet.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Another great feature is that Liv does not require batteries, you can just plug it in to charge and you can tell when it is running down by the red LED light around the control button and the light turns off when it is fully charged.

Care and Maintenance

My Liv came in a discreet storage box and was enclosed in a white satin bag. It is very easy to clean with just a damp soapy rag or a silicone safe toy sanitizer.

How many settings does the toy have? What is it made of? How big is it? Check your grammar and try using the extended review template. It will help you out alot. Its hard to remember all the details when using the standard review template.

Since it is a g-spot vibrator, I'd really love to see you add in something about whether it did work for your g-spot wise or not. Smile Good start to a review. You kept it simple. Smile

I'm sorry, I meant to say "settings" instead of 5 patterned. I did post that it was made of silicone, and also that I did not use it on my g-spot. I will keep working towards a better review if I get the chance Smile Thanks for the honest feedback! I will do a follow up when I use it as a g-spot vibe.

I agree with you, every Lelo toy I own could be stronger. I find they always leave me wanting more. I do have hope for the new Ina though. Welcome to the community. Winking

  • Liv settings
    • I have the Liv and find all the interval settings to just be annoying! I use it strictly on the regular constant vibration setting. What's your favorite Liv setting?

  • Liv strength like the siri?
    • I have the siri and I love it, and I was wondering if this has the same strength/depth as the siri?

  • Toy Colors
    • Looking at the new Lime Green color of LELO's Liv, I'm very close to buying it, just because it's such a kick ass color. Anybody else have a soft spot for nicely colored toys?

Gigi will be my next purchase, and I think the dusty rose actually looks really pretty, but now there's bright blue...lol, I'm torn.
    • Blue, green, and orange are my favorites. I prefer the "non-natural" coloring :-). Even if it's shaped like a real penis, it should be day-glo purple or somesuch :-)
    • I'm that way too. I like non-natural colors for toys. That is a kick ass color, that green. The pink Gigi does look pretty, but I also like how bright the turquoise is too! My next big buy will probably be a Gigi too, it just sounds so amazing. :)

  • The Liv or the Gigi. Both by Lelo
    • I've been hearing a lot lately about the Gigi. I haven't paid much attention because I absolutely love my Liv. I flipped back and saw that they are the same price, same company and only slightly different design. Does anyone actually have both? The Liv has been my all time favorite vibrator for a long time.
    • I actually have the Liv (though I haven't written up a review yet), the Iris, and the Elise. Honestly, and I hate to say it, but the Liv is probably my least favorite of the bunch. It's still an excellent vibe, but it's missing the delicious texturing of the Iris and the g-spot magic of the Gigi. If you like Lelo's products, I'd say the Gigi is definitely worth checking out!

Er, Elise=Gigi. I really shouldn't attempt to type before my morning coffee. *blush*
