The Liv is one of my absolute favorite vibes. Although she is billed as a G-spot vibrator (and does the job admirably), I actually love to use her to stimulate my clit and my nipples. My favorite thing is to grind into the vibe with her between my body and a blanket or towel. Liv's curve is just so perfect for fitting against your body and slipping back and forth against your clit and gliding between your labia. I also love to flip over to my back and hold her in my hand and slowly move her from my nipples down to my clit. There are a variety of pulse settings and intensity levels; you can start slow and work your way up, or jump straight in to body-shaking vibrations.

Although I would generally recommend Liv to anyone who loves a gorgeous and slim vibe with quiet yet strong vibrations, I would recommend the Liv especially to anyone who wants to "upgrade" from entry-level vibes for the first time. She's an investment that will become a favorite.

The Liv is made of a velvety silicone. You can tell that she's a quality and classy lady just by touching her. She is firm and perfect for pressing into your body for when you want more intensity. In Navy (and White), she's also a far cry from the garishly purple and pink vibes that dominate the market. I love her color, her style, and the sensation of her against my skin. The velvety texture definitely adds extra sensation - especially if you are using her against your nipples or stroking her along your skin.

While the Liv doesn't have an especially strong scent (really just a clean silicone smell), she does pick up the scents around her, so make sure to clean her well.

The Liv has this beautiful curve to her, that for me, fits exactly against my body, with the tip between my labia, and the base pressed above/against my pubic mound when I press her against me. Compared to other (even very high-end) vibes I've tried, her shape is what keeps me coming back for more. She is quite slim, so she is great for insertion, even if you aren't a big fan of vibe-y girth. Despite being designed as a G-spot vibrator, I actually think that her action against the clit and along the labia are superior to most clit vibes, although she can get a little slippery when wet (especially if you are going hands-free).

Liv comes in a satiny pouch, so you can probably conceal her with little difficulty, and I have taken her traveling before, but be aware that she does look like a vibrator in case you are shy around TSA.

Overall, I think the Liv's size is appropriate for beginners who care about quality or for people who prefer less girth for insertion, but her power and gorgeous texture could make her a great vibe for anyone.

One amazing thing about Liv is that she's rechargeable and has great staying power on a charge. I've had my Liv since 2009 and she's still going strong. When charging, you just plug her in to the provided charger and she'll light up to let you know she's getting juice.

Another thing I like about Liv, which is especially great if you have roommates or nearby others you don't want to know what you're up to, is that she's remarkably quiet for how much oomph she gives you. Even relative to other high end vibes, she's on the quieter side. If someone's in the same room with you, her 2 buzzy bees sound level would probably give you away, but behind closed doors you can take her up to her higher intensity levels without worrying about jackhammer sounds. As for intensity, you can take her from a nice low level all the way up to vibrations that may make you wish you'd left your panties on (this can be fun, and I'd recommend it; I'd peg her at 4 vrooms). There are also all kinds of different pulse settings. I prefer to leave her on constant and move at my own rhythm, but for those who prefer variable pulse settings, Liv will provide.

My last comment is on the controls, which I would say are the one downside to the Liv. If you prefer a "lay on top" or hands-free approach to using vibes, it is fairly easy to accidentally change the settings (from constant to pulse, for instance) due to the position of the controls on the inside curve of the base. If you are approaching the big moment, a settings-change can definitely be an unwanted interruption. On the plus side, you can pretty easily change the settings/levels as you desire, unlike other vibes whose hidden buttons might leave you fumbling.

For cleaning, since the Liv is non-porous silicone, I'd definitely recommend giving her a good wipe-down with a washcloth and some soap+water or toy cleaner. She's not waterproof, so please don't immerse her or stick her in the dishwasher. Really, a washcloth, or a careful running of the insertable portion under the tap is all you need to get the Liv clean.

As with all silicone toys, you should stick to water-based lube with the Liv, and make sure she's not touching other silicone toys in storage, as they don't tend to play well together. However, Liv comes with a perfect little satiny pouch for you to slip her away and store her into, so I find her to be fairly low maintenance as vibes go.

I love that every little aspect of the packaging, etc., is beautifully designed. It all just adds up to a luxurious user experience.
