The vibrating bullet is powered by three watch batteries and sits underneath the dolphin’s dorsal fin. This arrangement focuses the vibrations of the bullet at the tip of the dolphin’s nose. The bullet is wireless and waterproof which are two nice features of this toy. The label states there are seven patterns of vibration which are controlled by the push button on the side of the bullet. The first three are constant speeds with increasing levels of intensity, the next three are different pulsating patterns that vary the pause between pulses and the last level is a repeat of steady vibrations. Even at the higher levels, the vibrations were still mainly felt only at the tip of the toy possibly due to the thickness of the dolphin’s body. A more powerful or larger bullet may allow for the vibrations to be felt in other areas and the bullet hole is pretty flexible, so it should be able to accommodate a larger bullet. Bullet installations are much easier if you apply a little bit of lube to the hole and the bullet before insertion.

The inner ring provides for a very snug fit and you definitely want to lube both the cock and inner ring before putting this toy on. We found it easier to slide the inner ring all the way down then stretch the outer ring around the scrotum when putting the toy on. The Dolphin is a little bit top heavy and tends to droop forward when wearing but does not slide left or right all that much. The nubs provided some external stimulation on the outer lips when grinding together but the main vibrations were only felt at the tip even when we pressed our bodies together.
