BUBBLES, BUBBLES, BUBBLES!

The Dona Bath Foam does deliver a relaxing, enjoyable bubble bath. When going through the ingredients it doesn't seem to be "all natural" but I would definitely purchase it again. Goji Berry is a pleasurable, not overpowering scent.

Uses

For a relaxing, bubbly bath. It can be used as a shower gel but it is very thick and may turn into a slippery situation if used in the shower. You simply pour the gel into your running bath water. It is suggested to use 2 to 3 full caps into running water or use as much as you like to achieve the amount of bubbles you want. Be careful to watch your water and bubble level so not to over flow your tub. Mine didn’t overflow but it came close. I had approximately 2 feet of bubbles. The bubbles started right as I was pouring. The bubbles last a good 20 minutes or so and I was able to add fresh water to reactivate them. The label claims aphrodisiac, but this was not the case for me. It was relaxing though.

Texture/Consistency/Thickness

The Dona gel is thick and about the consistency of honey. It pours easily from the bottle with some running down the side. I just rinsed the bottle off after I closed the lid. I found this to be slightly thicker than the Philosophy brand of bath soap. It has a silky, rich feeling to it. I had to rinse the tub after using this product because it did leave it slightly slick and I didn’t want to hit the floor the next time I used the tub.

Ingredients

Purified water, Sodium C 14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Cocamidopropyl, betaine, glycerin, sodium chloride, lycium barbarum (Goji) berry, camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf, pericarp extracts, propanediol, xanthan gum, citric acid, guar gum, benzyl alcohol, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazone, disodium EDTA, Fragrance. (I have learned so much about ingredients since I became a reviewer!!)

Women who have issues with UTI's or yeast infections should be cautious with this product. It does contain glycerin.

Taste/Fragrance

Don’t taste it, it is not to be eaten. It doesn’t taste good when you get the bubbles into your mouth.
I purchased the Goji Berry , it has a berry scent that fills your bathroom. It wasn’t overpowering but light. My husband came into the bathroom and mentioned that it smelled good. The scent didn’t stay in the bathroom once I was out of the tub and the door was open. The scent doesn’t stick to you once you're out of the tub and it didn’t interact with my perfume.

Packaging

A clear 9.5 ounce bottle. The caramel color of the product is observable so you can see how much of the product you have left. The Label is discreet as regular bath gel. It does say that it is an aphrodisiac but I didn’t find this to be true or I would have slathered it all over my husband. It isn't travel friendly because it is too large of a bottle.
Experience
I liked the Dona bath Foam, I would definitely purchase it again. It has a great scent and I would like to purchase other of their scents. I think that it would be fun to put this in a jetted tub and watch the bubbles fly!! Of course I would never do this (in my own home never, but at a hotel?).
Follow-up commentary
I think that I will still stick with my Philosophy, they have more of a fragrance selection and it's actually cheaper for the amount you get.

Thank you for the wonderful review! I've been battling a kidney infection for over a year now on top of my other stomach issues, so I'll have to pass on this one. It's unfortunate, since I do like the other Dona products I have. I really appreciate the glycerin warning you gave, since I really have to be cautious about such things. Again, thanks for the great review!

Well thanks, When I was a child I couldn't use the bubble baths because of frequent UTI's but thank goodness I out grew that one.
