Ultra moisturizing shave cream - shaving foam discontinued by Evolution of Smooth - review by KrissyNovacaine

This is a shave cream from EOS. EOS created a line of beauty products made from natural ingredients. At least that is how they market themselves. This is my least favorite item from EOS so far. It's totally useable, but it honestly doesn't stand out as a product at all.

This feels exactly like hair conditioner in consistency. In fact, this works as hair conditioner. It looks very creamy and feels like it as well. I am too used to shaving creams that foam up, so using this always feels weird. I also don't like that, because of the consistency, it doesn't spread well, so I have to use a lot more of it than things that create a lather.

This doesn't pour well at all, but the bottle has a pump top which makes it work fine.

This doesn't feel greasy at all which is a huge plus for me. I get weirded out by textures really easily and this really just feels like an average hair conditioner.

I love the smell of vanilla, so when I stumbled on this product, I had to have it. I was so excited about this, but I ended up being so disappointed in it. The smell is super faint, and I can only smell it if I hold it right under my nose. It completely washes off the skin and isn't there at all after toweling off.

I have to use a lot more of this than I would like to shave. It takes like 2 quarters worth to shave my legs. It takes 1/3 of that of my Dona shave gel. It works fine as lubrication for shaving, but I can't get as close of shave, and I have to shave more often when I use this. On the flip side, I do not have as much irritation as I do using any other product. It's a real toss up for me.

This came in a plastic bag for shipping. The bottle had a plastic seal. The bottle itself is sturdy and discreet. It doesn't have anything referring to sex or pheromones that stands out on the bottle. It is equipped with a pump top which is super convenient.

EOS markets themselves as all natural but several of their ingredients aren't. Please check for any known allergens that you have. I have very sensitive skin, but this doesn't bother me at all.
