Ultra moisturizing shave cream - shaving foam discontinued by Evolution of Smooth - review by wrecklesswords

EOS's ulta moisturizing shave cream is one of the best products I have used in all of my years of shaving. It makes your legs, lady bits, underarms, or whatever you want to shave feel so soft and pampered when you're through. This product will work well for anyone. There are scents out there for everyone even an unscented choice.

I have only used this product in the bath or shower as I prefer to have a good source of water when doing my shaving. Dry shaving has never been my thing so I have never used it dry. I don't personally recommend you dry shave with any kind of shaving product, but that's more my personal preference than anything I can back up with facts.

As for allergy concerns, I had no reactions to this product, but that doesn't mean much of anything since we are all built differently. My skin is sensitive to certain soaps and whatnot (I have to use dye and scent free laundry detergent), but this hasn't made me itchy, burny, or any bit of uncomfortable.

The ingredients are as follows:

Some of you might have some reactions to these, so be careful.

This shave cream is unlike any others in texture. It is more like a foamy lotion than a gel or cream. It glides onto your skin easily without being thick and clumpy like some gel foams can do. It really is almost like you are putting lotion on your skin.

A thin layer is all you need, as I stated above. It stays in place rather well as long as you don't have it under direct water. If you do, it will rinse off just like anything else you put on your skin in the shower. It feels very creamy on your skin and you can almost instantly feel it moisturizing and softening the hairs.

Since it comes in a pump top, you really only need one hand to express it from the bottle. I find this to be a very attractive feature of this product. Not only that, but the bottle has an little indention that makes it even easier to hold in the shower. The bottle is also coated in a soft silicone-like cover that keeps it from slipping out of your hands.

The only scent I have used so far of this is the raspberry pomegranate scent, but it was heavenly! It's like a tropical getaway for your legs. The smell is strong, but not overbearing. In all honesty, it smells good enough to eat, but obviously, you do not want to eat this product. Not that you would, but you know, it smells so delicious that the temptation will surely be there. I suggest getting a smoothie after using this product to quench the need to eat this great-smelling product. It's much better for you.

If any of the other scents smell as great as this one, I will try them all out. The raspberry smell is a bit more prominent than the pomegranate, but what does pomegranate by itself really smell like?

The way your legs will feel after you have used this is stunning. You will immediately notice a difference in the way your legs feel even while still in the shower. You will feel soft and smooth and hydrated. There is no greasy residue, there is no dryness. There is simply velvety-smooth skin.

EOS shave lotion rinses off very easily from your razor and your body. There are no wash clothes needed. Just run the water over the area you have shaved and you will get the remaining lotion off. It will not stick to you in hard-to-rinse clumps or hang out all over the tub. It just washes away with minimal effort.

I will not be going back to using any other shaving product after this. I was so blown away by the way my skin felt that I can't use anything else.

Admittedly, I have not used ANYTHING on my legs in a while, including this product, but that is not for lack of wanting it, it is simply because I have neglected to buy more to replace the two bottles that I had for so many months.
