I Am Convinced of this Evolution

I was at first skeptical about EoS, but I'm hooked. I originally thought this was only a little more expensive, but because of the amount needed this is actually a lot more expensive. You'll need a lot for one shave, so the amount of shaves per can is probably a lot less than your foam dispensing creams. I took off one star for that.

This is a great shaving cream that both men and women can use. The fruity scent may be more suited for women, but I won't perpetuate gender roles. You can slather this all over your face, arms, legs, or anywhere with hair really; I wouldn't recommend this for shaving your head, though. This is my first EoS product and I am hooked.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

It doesn't come out in a big foamy poof like other shaving cream. Instead, it comes out like a bunch of toothpaste that foams up. This was by far one of the smoothest shaving creams I've ever used, but it isn't too thick compared to others. It'll take more than the small dollop of cream you get from one pump for even one a quarter of your thigh, and because you usually have to go over the same place twice, you'll need double. The good thing though is this does make your skin feel very soft after shaving. I had a problem with razor burn even with most shaving creams, but not this. The problem is that this provides such a good barrier that you might not catch all the hair on your skin.

Taste / Aroma

This was also by far one of the best smelling shaving creams ever, most of the other ones barely had a scent or had a very manufactured scent. This actually smelled like candy, not cough syrup or medicine, but candy. The raspberry pomegranate has a subtle undertone of raspberry and the main scent is the pomegranate, which I like since raspberry has a very harsh citric scent.

I really do not recommend tasting this at all. Shaving cream isn't edible even if it smells edible.

As I noted before, this works great but requires a lot. If I ran through the foam ones quickly, the amount of this I'd have to buy to shave my legs on a frequent basis would be phenomenal. Luckily, I'm one of the people who only shaves her legs when there's a special occasion, and this is gentle enough for sensitive areas I shave more often. The other problem I've had was with ingrown hair. I was surprised, but with this it took longer for me to get ingrown hairs after shaving, which is a plus for me.

This washes off easily, and leaves a nice, fresh, moisturized feeling. I'm convinced EoS is quality, if only quantity matched that.

Thanks for your review. I don't think I'll be getting this since you need to use a lot. I shave a lot, so this wouldn't last me long.
