Pheromone soy massage candle by Classic Erotica - review by ChubbyNerd

I ordered the Pheromone soy massage candle in the scent 'Strawberries & champagne'. I intended on using this just as a candle. I didn't want to use it for massages, however I did do a test for this review. I personally think this works a hundred times better as a candle than as a massage oil. The wax burns into a really thin, greasy oil. This would be great to give as a gift to someone who likes candles, or wants to try a massage oil (they might end up liking it). On the back of the can, it has directions on how to use it as a massage oil. It reads: Burn candle until partially liquid. Pour or spoon into hand and apply to skin for warm massage.

The texture of this candle is oily and greasy. I poured it onto the back of my hand to test it out for this review, and it went everywhere. It's very thin, so it doesn't stay in place at all until it's dry. When it dries, it gets really gross and flaky. It looks and feels gross. I don't think this works well as a massage oil at all. The can makes it very easy to pour onto the skin, though. This wax is pretty hard to get off of your skin once it's dried. I have to really scrub with soap and water to get it off.

I got this candle in the scent 'Strawberries and Champagne'. To me, it doesn't really smell like either, but the scent of this candle is okay. It's not the best candle I've ever smelt, but it's certainly not the worst. When burning this candle, the smell is not overpowering. It could be a little bit stronger, since it has a light smell. I had it burning in my room for an hour, and the only time I could really smell it was when I would walk right by it.

The ingredients in this candle are as follows:
Soybean oil, Coconut oil, Hemp seed oil, Apricot oil, Jojoba oil, Avocado oil, Fragrance (Parfum), including Essential Oils, Vitamin E, Copulandrone, Copuline-alike, Reconstituted andronone.

It doesn't have a specified number of burning hours, but if I had to guess, I would say it could having a burning hour of about 10 hours -- depending on how much you use it for a massage. To get this off my hand, I have to use a lot of soap and really scrub at it. I even had to scratch off some parts of it with my nails. So, it's not the easiest to get off. I like the smell and the packaging on this candle, but that's about it. It doesn't work well as a massage oil.

This candle comes in a silver tin can. The stickers on it are pink with purple text and hearts. I personally think the packaging is really cute. I like that it comes in a tin can, as it makes it easy to travel with! The only downfall to the packaging is that it gets wax all over the can and that it's not discreet at all. It has 'foreplay' written pretty big on the lid and on the side.
