Sensual Sin-amon

Sin In A Tin is has a big scent for a little candle. This soy candle is great as a cute candle to scent up your room or for a sensual massage. I can't support the pheromone claim, but this candle is enough of a mood-setter with its sexy scent you can let it slide.

Use

The Sin In A Tin pheromone massage candle is a good example of what a massage candle should be. This candle has a strong scent, making it perfect to stay lit in a room to fill it with a delicious cinnamon aroma that screams "I'm ready for fall." You can relax in the cinnamon-scented candlelight with your partner or while taking a bath.

Or it can be used for a slick and smooth massage. This candle would be great for any couple looking to spice up their bedroom activities. The Sin In A Tin is perfect for anyone interested in temperature play—the melted wax is warm but not hot enough to burn the skin. This candle can also be used as a moisturizer for dry skin if you don't mind smelling of cinnamon—the oils surpass any lotion!

Ingredients: Soybean Oil, Coconut Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Apricot Oil, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Fragrance (Parfum), including Essential Oils, Vitamin E, Copulandrone*, Copuline-alike*, Reconstituted Andronone*

*These are synthetic pheromones in case you didn't know.

There are quite a few ingredients and perfumes so if you have sensitive skin you might want to be careful!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Before the candle is lit, the soy wax is hard and does not feel oily at all. The hardened wax feels rough and dry. But once this baby is lit and allowed several minutes to melt and liquefy, it turns into a thick massage oil.

The tin isn't the greatest to pour the oil out, as there is no pour spout, but if done carefully it works just fine. I do prefer using a small spoon to apply the oil though.

The oil feels smooth and slick when rubbed into the skin. It stays in place wonderfully since it's incredibly thick. However, its thickness may be its worst attribute as it leaves a light film after use. Aside from the light residue left behind, there is no sticky or greasy feeling. All in all, mess-free.

Taste / Aroma

The scent is the greatest part of this candle! Don't let the little tin fool you—there's a lot of scent packed in there. The scent is strong before lit and becomes stronger still when lit and allowed to melt. It can fill a medium-sized room with a delicious cinnamon-stick aroma.

This scent reminds me of Big Red chewing gum when cooled, but when it's lit it smells more like cinnamon sticks. Either way I think it smells great!

For reviewing sake, I licked my partner after giving him a massage with this oil and there is really no taste; although it's not meant to be edible, it's not terrible if you accidentally taste it.

Performance

When using Sin In A Tin for a massage it lasted through a 30-minute massage without having to reapply any more oil.

The wax leaves a light film on the skin and should be washed off with soap and water after use. My skin still felt soft and had a very light cinnamon scent after gently cleaning it off.

The best attribute would have to be the cinnamon scent, but I could do without the waxy residue left behind. There is no indication to the burn time on the labeling, but I've used it for a massage several times and for burning quite a few, I'd guess there's around 10-12 hours worth of burn time in that tin, varying depending on how much oil you use for a massage.

Packaging

This pheromone soy massage candle comes packages in a sexy little 4 ounce tin. The red lid sticker says "Sin In A Tin" and the scent "Sin-amon". The background image features a heart and a trident.

The front of the label on the tin features the trademarked Sin In A Tin logo. The left side has instructions for use and ingredients. The right side goes of the usual cautions of a candle and also tells us that this is a hand-crafted candle featuring natural soy and a hemp wick.

This tiny tin is perfect for travel and is pretty discreet.

    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Does not leak
