I used to long for this toy. I am not exaggerating, either. I remember being a little girl and overhearing some of my older cousins talk about this toy, that was in a magazine. It was advertised like a personal massager - you know, for your back and neck and such? And then I heard one giggle and say to the other "who would use it for that?". I had no idea what they were talking about until I got quite a bit older, and it's taken me until now to get up the balls to actually buy one for myself. Not because I couldn't afford it, or didn't want one, or had no experience with toys. Mainly just because I did not want to ruin the image in my mind of what this beast was capable of, because I have heard about how amazing it is for so much of my life.

And holy crap, it is amazing, not even going to lie. But it's almost so amazing that it's too much. This thing is so strong, I'm surprised it's not gas powered. The vibrations in this are -exactly- what I have always loved; the deep, thrummy ones that leave you shaking to your very core, not those tiny little bumble-bee wing ones. And the Hitachi is exactly that type of deep, thrummy, core-shaking vibration. And that's just the LOW setting.

It's actually kind of deceptive, because when you look at this thing, it looks as far from an orgasm as you can really imagine. It's a plain, white color, with a blue shaft-thing that connects to a white "tennis ball" thing. On the handle (which is bulky and almost cumbersome), there's a switch (that looks like something you'd find on an old piece of hospital machinery), with only two settings - HIGH and LOW. It's made of a solid-grade medical plastic, with a white cord of about 6 feet that plugs into the wall. Probably a good thing, too, because this beast has so much power it would go through batteries in seconds. I haven't honestly bothered to lick the toy, so I couldn't tell you how it tasted, but it does have a very slight chemical smell right out of the box. After a month, it's gone.

On a few side notes, the Hitachi is NOT for insertion. If you want something to go INSIDE of you, buy one of the attachments. This thing is not water proof. It is not even really water resistant, and it is plugged directly into a power source, so I suggest using some common sense in how you clean it. Don't boil it or submerge it or wash it in the sink. Use hygienic wipes, wash cloths, and sprays or gels to keep it clean. Don't share it, either. If you need to, you can fit a condom on it, but I'm sure it's quite a hassle, but I digress.

High is actually a setting that I was scared to try. If the setting of "LOW" were the "HIGH", and there was a setting that was 2/3rds of the current "LOW" setting, I would be in heaven, and I would probably leave my SO for this baby. Needless to say, I didn't spend much time in "HIGH".

Fortunately for my nethers and I, I was already aroused from just the thought of this when the package arrived, that I was able to orgasm, and very well, at that. However I was left with this amazingly powerful orgasm, and still feeling like something was lacking (and it wasn't cuddles). I felt like I had been robbed of the majority of my session.
