The Hitachi works great for clitoral stimulation, especially for those who have never experienced an orgasm before. This baby is packed full of power and will rock your world. I would say the Hitachi is pretty much odorless. If you hold it up to your nose you can smell a subtle plasticky smell, but not much.

The design is not very appealing to the eye. It really doesn't even look like it should be used as a sex toy at all. It is designed so the neck of the Hitachi (where the head & handle are connected) is a bit flexible so you do have some give to it when in use but not much. It is quite large and I would guess that it weighs about 2 pounds. The bulky size and weight can make it a pain to use this vibrator. Your hand can get tired and/or sometimes it's difficult finding a comfortable position to hold it in. The Hitachi does have an attached cord as this toy does require an outlet to be used. Due to the Hitachi's bulky size I would not recommend it for travel.

Even though the Hitachi looks like a back massager and that was its intended purpose, it's also been a very popular toy used for masturbation. There are only two functions: Low & High. "Low" feels much more like a high to me and "High" feels like a SUPER intense high. On the high setting it literally almost bounces and slides my fingers right off the toy if I try to grab on. Obviously the Hitachi wasn't made to use on your hands/fingers, I'm just trying to give you an idea of how strong this vibrator really is. It is so strong that it can also temporarily desensitize and numb your clit. Some people believe it can do permanent desensitizing but let me tell you I use my Hitachi nearly every day and it hasn't done any damage to my clit thus far. Overall the performance of this wand is out of this world amazing! I love mine so much it sits at my bedside already plugged in ready to go.

This toy is not the slightest bit waterproof so when cleaning, it would be best to get a damp cloth with some soap or toy cleaner on it to wash the head with. As for the handle just a damp cloth to wipe it off now and then would suffice. For storage the Hitachi is a bit large for a storage bag unless you can find one that's a good fit. I just keep mine in one of my dresser drawers or just laying on my bed since I use it so often.
