Best for Miscellaneous Items
I'm glad I own this case. If nothing else, it provides a great way to keep people away from things the don't need to know about. It's not going to hold your entire collection, but as you will see from the pictures below it still holds a fair amount of product.Published: November 2, 2011
Pros:
Decent Quality, Great for Miscellaneous Items, and Small Toys
Cons:
Will Not Hold Toys Larger than 11.5" or Your Full Collection
BMS Enterprises brings you the lockable storage case designed to keep nosy people out of your stash of toys. That's not the only thing you can store in here. Prescription medications, nail polish collections, makeup, art supplies like paintbrushes and marker sets, or your jewelry collection can easily be stored inside.
If you're a college student, you could hide your wallet, favorite candy bars or junk food items inside to keep your roommates out of it. The type of things to put inside are limitless, but the amount is not. And if there's ever a need for hiding the remote control from someone, you can do that too!
When it arrived it was bubble wrapped. The handle is wrapped in a piece of styrofoam sheet to protect it from damage during shipping. There is an instruction sheet indicating that the initial combination to unlock it is "000".
There is a piece of plastic, normally used to secure tags to clothing items, shoved underneath the combination dial. This prevents the combination from being changed accidentally. Not that that is a real concern because in order to change the combination you have to slide the button that unlocks it to the left and then set the new combination. This tag has to be very carefully removed to prevent it from getting stuck underneath the dial. I used a pair of cuticle scissors and a pair of tweezers to remove mine. I didn't have any difficulty in changing the combination, but trying to remember it might be fun.
The overall quality isn't too bad. I've already got a couple of scratches on the handle and the front of the case. Some of the metal is kind of tarnished and I'm leaning towards the idea that the "metal" handle is actually coated plastic. The locking mechanism has a weak spring so when it opens, it kind of goes off to one side. It would probably be difficult to replace and not worth the trouble should it ever break. I imagine if it were to meet walls frequently or be tossed aside haphazardly that the chances of scratching the finish would increase significantly. I haven't noticed any kind of odor in the lining and it seems to be glued in rather well. It could stand to take a few spills of lubricant or other liquids. An antibacterial wipe would probably be the best thing to use to clean any spills.
Here is what is currently inside of my case:
List of Contents:
2 Twisted Heart Seduction Vibrators 1 Icicles No. 17 1 Eden Bullet 1 Package of Eden wipes 1 Couture Transcend Flexing Massager 1 Nexus G-play Medium
So for something that holds six toys and a way to clean up afterwards, it's not a bad deal. Just don't expect it to hold your entire collection. Certain rabbits and the Hitachi or Wahl wand massagers definitely will not fit inside of this case. Still, I'm glad I decided to give it a chance---for what it is, it's a pretty good deal. I can see me ordering one or two more for cosmetics and that kind of thing.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I use this for wipes, bottles of lube, lube packets and the lube tubes. It's a great catch-all for accessories and I might grab another for toys when/if we travel.

So, where do you hide your toys?
-
Where do you hide em? Has anyone ever found them? Any funny spots/coverups you've used?
-
My toys generally reside in the nightstand (more of a night cabinet) next to my bed. Haven't had any troubles with people being sneaky. I have accidentally left toys out though and grabbed them while guests weren't looking. When you reach some number of toys, it just becomes near impossible to keep track of all of them :-O
-
I don't have that many people over, so I don't really do much to hide them. I put them in a trunk, but it's not locked or anything.

Best place to hide your toys...
-
I'm going to write a post here soon about where is the best place to hide your toys. I'm also going to share horror stories of what can happen if your toy isn't hidden well enough. For example, we were at a friends home when there 4 year old came walking into the living room with a bright pink dildo in here hand calling it her "Princess wand" So yeah, whats your favorite spot to hide toys?

A lot of times we leave stuff out charging right on our table in our bedroom. A few things we barely use is in our dresser, the rest is under our bed in a box so we can easily access it :D

We have a nice hat box in the closet, pretty close to the bed. No one goes in the closet, but even if they did, it would look decorative.

Does anyone know where i can get a bigger box for a larger stash?
-
There were a number of posts a while back relating to creative ways to store sex toys. Try doing a search.

I don't know of any places online, but I know that most locksmiths can make you a stylish safe-like box. I had a wood one carved and styled for me, best investment yet.

Help ASAP :(

My pink lockable sex toy case by BMS Enterprises is locked shut and I can't get it open. Yes, I have the right code in. No, I have never had a problem with it before. It has my favorite toys and I had to masturbate with my back ups:( How do I get into my box and rescue my favorite bunny? Has anyone had this problem before and how did you solve it?

That sounds terrible.. I hope you get it open! My toys are currently in a home-made cloth zip case, and not locked up. Sorry to hear your bunny is trapped!

Try WD40 or similar on the lock mechanism and hinge. Apply it with a generous hand, and let it soak in for a few minutes, then try again. If it's just jammed, that may be enough to get it moving again.
Hit the lock sharply a few times, though obviously be careful not to use enough force to damage your case. It's not the best way to unstick a lock, but it could be just enough to loosen the mechanism, so it's worth a shot.
Worst case scenario: cut the lock hinge. You're going to need really heavy cutters, if not actual lock cutters (you can find those at hardware stores). If you're careful, you'll still have a box to store your toys in, though it won't latch closed anymore.
Good luck, and I hope you manage to get your toys out soon!

Thank you for viewing Lockable sex toy case – storage container review page!

I love things that can hold lots of different types of things. Thanks for the review!
Ooo I didn't even think of using this for makeup! Good idea. This is way too small for my toys and I never travel so for that it doesn't make sense for me. For makeup it might be nice.
I have the same one, it is holding all my favorites.
Looks like a good multi-purpose case! Thanks for the review!
That's pretty neat that you can put different things in here too, that I wouldn't have thought of! This is a great review, thanks for sharing this with us! I want this one in black as well as purple! Cute case!
Thanks for the pictures.
Great review! Thanks for the pictures!
great review, thanks for adding the pictures.
Good review. I love mine, although like you said, it doesn't come close to holding my collection. Using it for meds or make is a good idea, too.
Thank you everyone, glad I could toss a few different ideas out there for you!
Great review. I think you have changed my mind about this and I actually want it now.
