Sex Against a Wall, Made Easy!

The Single Locking Suction Footrest is another one of the pieces in the Sex in the Shower line, designed by Sportsheets. It's a wonderful addition to their already hefty collection of handles and cuffs that can be used in the shower, for shower-loving. The footrest suctions onto the wall with great force, and stays on unless deliberately taken off. It's great for people whose legs tire after being held up for long periods of time, and perfect for couples to enjoy.

Use

To make standing positions easier in the shower (or against a wall), the Sex in the Shower Foot Rest allows for comfort and ease of lifted-leg positions. The suction cup works really well, but it isn't so strong that it can support all of a person's weight; it is mainly able to just allow you to rest your foot on it. It's easy to use for most, but people who have any hand problems, like arthritis, may not be able to get it suctioned as easily.

This is a foot rest specifically made for couple-sex, though it can be used alone if the person feels like lifting a leg during masturbation. I found that it also suctions more sturdily when used on a surface like tile or granite. It does stay on well, even when wet, so if you aim the shower at it after it's been suctioned on, you should be fine.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material

Sportsheets made the footrest out of a white plastic and light blue (bluish tint, at least) rubber, the rubber of course being the part that suctions to your surface of choice. The plastic is a smooth plastic without any drag that is easy to step on. The footrest curves so that the person's foot can stay in place and not slip onto the bottom of the shower or tub. It's a very comfortable fit for the foot.

On the underside of the foot rest is the lever that suctions the footrest into place and also a few little seam, molding holes in the plastic. (They are not holes, per se, they are more of indents.) There are also seams extending around the edges of the footrest. These are not something that scratch against or can hurt a person if they are to accidentally brush against it.

The entire piece is actually fairly heavy; not so heavy that you need a body builder to take it out of its packaging, but heavy enough that it's a bit of surprise. This makes it stay onto the wall, as most of the weight is in the suction area.

Along the rubber suction cup is a little more than a 4 1/2" diameter. Make sure that this accommodates your shower/tub wall.

Performance

Sportsheets' footrest works really well, and I have a few suggestions for use from what I've learned with it:

-It cannot be suctioned over an indent in a wall. This means that it must be suctioned on a completely flat surface, so if your bathroom wall is tiled, then it should be within the tile as opposed to sitting along a space where the tiles meet.

-Practice makes perfect, so practice a bit using it in the shower and suctioning it to the wall if you plan to surprise a partner with it.

-If you have any hand problems, like arthritis, I recommend not buying this piece, because it will be hard to use and will be more of a hassle than something that has ease of use.

-It should be suctioned at a level that is easy for the person to reach and lift their foot to, so when using it the first time, get your partner at a comfortable position, mentally mark where their foot is most comfortable, and put the footrest in that place.

-Putting it on the wall before the wall is wet makes it suction the most.

How does it work? Perfectly. You can use it either with the person's belly facing the wall, or with their back against the wall. Either works great, and it makes it easier for the person being penetrated to lift their leg, as they have something to rest themselves on. I love this footrest, and it makes me feel like having a lot more sex in my shower.

Packaging

The Sex in the Shower Foot Rest comes in a thin cardboard box with some product information on its outside and an image of a heterosexual couple having sex using both the foot rest and one of its partner products, the Dual Locking Suction Handle. It isn't something discreet, which is understandable; a foot rest for a shower isn't something so discreet, unless you'd like to pull it off as being a soap tray. I personally recycled the packaging, as there is no special way to store the foot rest.

Care and Maintenance

The footrest is very easy to take care of. It can be washed with soap and water if need be, and since it really does not come in contact with genitals, it's safe to use with multiple people if you want. After every use, I suggest drying it off thoroughly with a towel. You can easily store it on a shelf in a closet, or in the bathroom under the sink. I personally prefer to keep mine close by, in a cabinet under the sink.

Personal comments

There were a few problems with my footrest, I was very upset. A little piece fell out (though I am not sure what it is..I still have not figured it out) and there was a molding problem on the seam that was a bit scratchy. The rest of the seam is very smoothed over, but that one piece had something wrong with it.

Aside from that little bit, I really like this piece. It's fun to use, and it's a nice addition to Sportsheets' Sex in the Shower line.

Experience

It took me a few minutes before use to actually get the suction to work. I first tried it on the shower wall tiles, thinking that it would be easy as anything, but it wasn't. I then moved the foot rest to my counter, trying to get the suction to work about ten times. I recommend, before using it, to test it out and get the hang of it so that you're not fumbling around for more than ten minutes trying to get it to stick to your shower wall.

After the hassle of getting the suction to stay, however, this little foot rest worked wonderfully. I feel that the best positions for it are with the person's front or back against the wall, one foot on the foot rest and the other on the bottom of the shower or bath. When it does finally stick to the wall, it does not come off except for with a ton of pressure (like slipping and falling sort of pressure).
