Striped pleasure can review

I'd recommend the Pleasure Can because I love the aesthetic for both this and the sleek, silver and red model. The can is a great, simple case you could whip out from your drawer for your favorite mini vibe, but it'd also be great for transporting a smaller toy for travel, especially if in mixed company.

extremely useful review
The Pleasure Can is probably the cutest sex toy accessory I've ever seen, but it makes sense; Fun Factory has a reputation for both their special brand of playful eclecticism and their products' quality, such as with their (overly?) friendly collection of animal critters who'll help you out in any tough spot, each with names like Dinky Digger or Dolly Dolphin. (Seriously. Can you even reach a further level of cute for what these things are made for?)

But first things first. Function-wise; the case is small. Unless you have a vibe that is specifically marked "mini," I doubt it would fit in this can. The specs run 6 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 2 ½," which translates to just a little shorter than my own petite pencil case, but a lot bigger around. Unzipped, there's about an inch of cushy foam padding which lines all of the (metal) lid, and thinner layer of foam that's wrapped around the inside of the body of the case, which will either cradle a vibe that fits perfectly (lengthwise) inside or protect your toy from rattling around and making unnecessary noise against unprotected metal. Sound was muffled to a satisfying degree when I experimented with smaller objects.

A minor quibble is that the interior body foam isn't attached in any significant way—it really is just one piece of foam cloth folded around inside. I tried pulling on it, and the foam is now misaligned; I'll need to get a fork or some such to try and even it out somehow, since my hands won't reach inside. Another issue was that the top was attached slightly lopsided. I kept trying to fix it, pushing on one side of the metal lid even knowing that Yes, res, those things there? are called stitches and lots of industrial glue.

But, okay. I know why you guys really want to buy this, because this case would look perfectly at home in a sparkly Asian stationary store that worships insane levels of cute. The can has an awesomely retro, pink-striped design and an almost Engrish combination of the "FUN Factory" logo in stylized, raised letters on the lid and the perky reminder to "love yourself!" running along one side. The description and photo further promised a rhinestone-studded bundle of concentrated cuteness in the shape of a "sparkling pink heart zipper" that "adds flair," but to my lingering sadness, the case I received for review brought no such joy to my life. Oh, well. It'll attract a little less attention, I guess, which brings me to my next point: discretion.

It's actually so friendly-looking, I'd dare not leave this hanging around in a public place for the fear that friends would unzip it looking for one of my cute and funky pencils. (Haha, GOTCHA.) But the only thing that'll really give this away as a toy case (other than the fairly innocuous "Fun Factory" logo) would be the company's information stamped on the bottom of the can, which includes its website address, phone number, and email contact. Unless you're wary of truly intrepid snoopers, I wouldn't think this is was a huge problem (you could always paste a sticker over the lettering, in case).

Overall, even though the construction could have been more solid, I'd recommend the Pleasure Can because I love the aesthetic for both this and the sleek, silver and red model. In any case, it's sturdy enough for the job at hand. The can is a great, simple case you could whip out from your drawer for your favorite mini vibe, but it'd also be great for transporting a smaller toy for travel, especially if in mixed company.

It's cute but it's just too small.

Yeah, unless there's a specific small toy you'd like to hide away on a trip, I'd probably go with a larger, more multi-functional toy storage unit.

Thanks for the review! It's so cute, but that's kinda offset by the size. Great for traveling though, I guess.
