Mind you, I do not have a slew of toys scattered around my drawers, but I was in need of something that my kids would be able to see and not think "Oh dear, whats this?" I have younger children, and they get into EVERYTHING. I purchased this to store a specific toy inside. Considering that it is somewhat smaller than I would have liked, one or two items was all it fit. Well, the size of the toy that I was intending to store in this, was entirely too big to store anymore, so....Yeah.

The striped pleasure can, at first, didn't appeal much to me. I figured with it being a canister, my toys would bang around in it too much and would damage them. Well, the canister has a thin layer of foam padding that lines the inside walls of it, as well as the top portion. This makes for a great case for glass toys! Granted, you can't throw and toss it around the room and have your glass items be totally "safe", but it definitely helps to buffer the bumping around that our stuff endures.

The top of the striped pleasure can unzips which I found to be a really cute and cool feature. It's something "different". Zip from one side to the other to open. You can leave the foam padding inside if you'd like, or it can come out. (Top and sides are removable).

Another really cute feature I liked was the chain that comes on it. There is a small heart with rhinestone type gems lining the heart. It makes for a really beautiful accessory on the can. I can leave this can out, sitting on top of my dresser or night stand, and all my daughter says is "Oh thats cute!". Now having said this, I don't leave it out on purpose because I don't want her getting nosy trying to pry into it. However, if it happens to be left out somewhere, no one will be the wiser. Depending on the decor of your bedroom, this would also be a great addition for your room.

My only beef with this item is that I would like to see this item in other colors and patterns. I think that would be great for those of us that don't sleep in a pink room.
This canister can be used for other things than just toys as well! Maybe you want to place it in the bathroom or in your home elsewhere where it can be admired. You can also use this for incense burning sticks. Up to you! Either way, it's a great addition to your collection and I recommend this!

Still love it! I have found that you can also use this for candles! I have a ton of tin candles that were laying around my living room - the type that have the tin tops on them. All I had to do was throw them inside the can and stack them up! Holds about 5 of my mini candle tins and I placed a lighter in there as well. Great storage.
