Wet body glide - lubricant discontinued by Wet Lubricants - review by Tori Rebel

I, like many of you, had tried Wet lube products years ago and quite frankly, not been thrilled. I remember their flavors being WAY too pungent, and the lube getting sticky sometimes in just a few minutes. But that was years ago, and in looking for a new flavored lube, I came across Wet Body Glide in its new packaging so I gave it a go.

And I can't complain at all! This lube was slick but not gooey, and not so slippery that it turned my partner and I into human slip-and-slides. It lasted a long time without getting dry or sticky, and while I could taste it on my partner (the kiwi strawberry is quite yummy!), it was not overbearing and the room we used it in did not smell like it for hours afterward like some other products.

It is water based so it is safe with all toys, condoms, and it caused no irritation whatsoever on my skin. Unlike some other flavored lubes, it is not colored to match the flavor, it is crystal clear and did not stain, nor was it hard to wash off of our skin or my toys. However, since it does wash off so easily, it is not optimal for use in water because it will dissolve quickly. I've used it now for sex with my partner, for toys used on him, and toys used on myself and been very pleased with the overall product quality in all situations. It's a great product just to have in the nightstand because it is so versatile. It works for singles that just want to lube up before masturbation, for use with toys, or with a partner.

The 3.5 oz bottle comes with a flip top cap so it is easy to get into with one hand, and the bottle has a shape that makes it easier to hold on to than your average cylindrical container. The lube is very thin and therefore if you're not careful, it can get a little out of control when put on a toy or a body part but it has not stained any clothing or bedding in my experience, so getting a little messy is OK with me.

The only drawback I can find in this product is that it doesn't seem to go as far as other lubes I've used and therefore you need to use a bit more than you would with some thicker water based or silicone lubricants. But even if you were to use double every time (which I don't see as necessary - in my experience it's more like 1/3 more), the bottle is very affordable and should still last a while. Plus since it comes in 4 flavors (I've only recently used the Strawberry Kiwi but am looking forward to the Blueberry and the Pina Colada) so when it runs out you can try another flavor!

One little note - while the options to purchase simply list 'strawberry', the bottle you get is actually kiwi strawberry, which you can see written on the bottle if you zoom in.

This is a very versatile lube that works well for sex or play where body parts and toys will be involved because it's compatible with just about everything. I was very pleased with its consistency and how long it remained slick. The flavor was great too, and it wasn't over the top as far as flavor and scent go. There was just enough to notice.

This lube isn't my favorite in my collection but I still reach for it on a semi-regular basis. When I only need a little extra moisture or something for a quick play session, this still works great.
