Sliquid swirl - lubricant by Sliquid, LLC - review by SilverVixen

If you’re searching for water based, water soluble flavored lubricants (or any flavored lubricant for that matter) Sliquid Swirl is a lip smacking, safe choice! Sliquid Swirl is wonderfully slippery and comes in four refreshingly fruity flavors; Cherry/Vanilla, Green Apple, Blue Raspberry, and Pina Colada!

Sliquid products are 100% vegan (not tested on animals) and I applaud Sliquid's efforts to provide greener, glucose free, and sugar free flavored products.

Of the four available flavors, I chose the Cherry/Vanilla. The flavor of Sliquid Cherry/Vanilla Swirl reminds me of a muted cherry Starburst (candy) blended with a faint hint of artificial vanilla, and yay! NO weird aftertaste! The smell is a little strong, but not overwhelming, it definitely won't ruin your sensory experience. The packaging is super cute, a clear 4.2 fl.oz./125 ml flip-top bottle with a bright label.

Slip and Slide

The fact that Sliquid is water soluble and water based means it's safe for use in conjunction with most sex toy materials (and condoms) so feel free to drizzle it over your latex, rubber and plastic toys! The lube is soft and silky when applied to skin, plugs, or on vibrators. When used on skin, Sliquid Swirl doesn't feel stringy, sticky or goopy like other water based flavored lubricants I've tried in the past.

My only caveat is this lube tends to lose its slickness/slipperiness once it starts drying and it becomes tacky to the touch. This product dries rather quickly and fellow reviewers who've tried this for massages or hand jobs recommend keeping water nearby to reactivate it. I haven't had a need for water since I primarily use this product for oral sex. I've noticed saliva, natural lubricant and sweat tend to reactivate this just as well. I prefer not to use water mid session to reactivate lube, so I generally favor silicone based lubricants, but I also love flavored lubricant and silicone based lubes aren't made for slurping!

Sliquid Swirl makes Blow Jobs more Bearable!

While I don't loathe performing oral sex, I'm not entirely in love with it either. Perhaps I have issues but natural odors, tastes, and the fact that urine comes from the place where my mouth goes always seems to gross me out. No matter how hard I've tried, post “wild teen days”, I can't seem to wrap my head around the thought of frequent oral sex. Not that I don't do it - I do (post shower) - but I want an option that makes giving blow jobs a little less like chugging meat and a little more like licking a lollipop. Sliquid Swirl's fruity scent and fresh flavor provides enough of an offset to make blow jobs just as enjoyable for the “giving” end!

Clean up is breeze easy, just use soap and water. I prefer to shower after using this product simply because I don't like to leave traces of lubricant on my skin. I'm sure this would remain slightly tacky (versus completely absorbing) if left on the skin for an extended length of time. I've also noticed Sliquid turns a slightly transparent - whitish color when it dries on toys or on dark fabrics, but it's no cause for concern - simply wipe it clean!

All in all I am very satisfied with Sliquid Swirl and I plan to continue using this affordable, yummy lubricant!
