extremely useful review
Sliquid’s Swirl lubricant is a cherry-vanilla flavored water-based lube. It is really a lot more than just that. It is fun; it is tasty; and it is super-friendly to those with sensitivities to certain ingredients found in many other lubes.

First of all, Swirl is a water-based lubricant. It is safe for all types of sex toy materials. It washes off easily, it won’t stain your sheets, and if it does need to be recharged a little spit or a drop or two of water does the trick. One of the many things that impressed us about Swirl was how long it last though. Like any other water-based lube, it does dry outwhen exposed to air for a while so it really isn’t suitable for handjobs. But for penetrative sex, it is extremely long lasting. In fact, Sliquid says it is “formulated to last longer than most Hollywood marriages.”

Swirl is glycerin free. This is very important for us as Mrs. Peg has a sensitivity to glycerin. It is also paraben free, which some people are also sensitive to. What’s more is that Swirl is hypoallergenic. Sliquid Swirl is also free of DEA, glycerol PEG, gluten, propylene glycol, sorbitol, and sulphates. The ingredients are: purified water, plant cellulose from cotton, cyamopsis (guar conditioners), cherry and vanilla flavoring, aspartame, potassium sorbate, and citric acid. In case you are wondering, according to Sliquid “Cyamopsis (Guar Conditioners) is a non toxic and natural additive that enables the plant cellulose fiber to move and feel incredibly slippery.” All the ingredients in Swirl are vegan and sugar-free so everyone, except those sensitive to aspartame, can enjoy it.

I really like going down on Mrs. Peg. I am happy to go down on her prior to penetrating her, stopping during sex and going down on her, and even going down after we are finished. I don’t mind the taste of my own seed mixed with her juices. What I don’t like is the taste of lube. This lube, on the other hand, tastes really quite good and, if anything, enhances the flavors of things. So for those times when a little lube is needed, if I am going to be putting my mouth on Mrs. Peg’s lady bits, I reach for Sliquid Swirl.

Sliquid Swirl is our favorite lube if we are planning on incorporating some oral play. This is not our choice if we are going to be playing with toys. It is thin and tends to run a bit. For playing with toys we like a lube that stays put like Better Sex Essentials Gel Lubricant. That isn’t a lube that I would want in my mouth though. If I am going to be tasting Mrs. Peg once some lube has been applied to her or me, it is Sliquid Swirl or nothing.
