Swirl lube - lubricant discontinued by Sliquid, LLC - review by solly

I purchased this lube for my girlfriend and I to use. Since we are both conscious about our allergies and using body-safe products, I knew Sliquid was the right choice for us, and this lube does not disappoint. While I am confident that it would be safe to use this lubricant without a dental dam, we chose to use one while using this lubricant. It is a great-tasting lube to use for oral sex. I would not recommend using this in the bathtub since it is water-based and it would just wash away.

It has a smooth, silky texture and does not leave behind a sticky feeling on your hands or elsewhere after use. Since it is water-based and it's designed to be eaten it doesn't last forever so you may find the need to reapply it, but a little bit does go a long way.

The flavor we chose was strawberry pomegranate but to be honest, I would describe this as tasting (and smelling) exactly like sugar-free strawberry gelatin. Not quite what I was expecting but it is a nice flavor. This lubricant also does not leave behind a bitter or soapy aftertaste in your mouth like I have experienced while sampling some other flavored brands.

I felt that this product lasted a satisfactory amount of time for what it is, although we did find the need to reapply it. Since it is water based, whatever is left behind absorbs into the skin and it doesn't leave behind any sticky residue. This is a very natural-feeling lubricant. I really enjoyed the flavor and I would like to try the others made by sliquid in this line.

This lubricant did not come with any specific packaging around the bottle, however the label is red and nicely printed with the Sliquid logo and it is easy to read. The ingredients listed on the back are as follows:

purified water
plant cellulose (from cotton)
cyamopsis (guar conditioners)
strawberry and pomegranate flavoring
aspartame
potassium sorbate
citric acid

Since this lubricant is water based and it does not include glycerine, propylene glycol or parabens you can feel safe and confident using it for any kind of toy, as well as foreplay and intercourse.
