The screaming octopus review by Dame Demi
Discreet massager by Bushman Products
As I unpacked the Screaming Octopus, I wondered if it could get away with putting it on my key ring. True to its name, this silky silicone mini-vibrator is shaped like an octopus with two protruding eyes, lips, and eight tingling tentacles with teeny tiny suction cups. It cutely sits 1 1/2 inches high and 3 1/2 inches around.
Unlike most vibrators, it doesn't pack a walloping pulse. Its gentle vibrations (run on two watch batteries) tickle. The ribbed, rubber chord attached to its head allows the Octopus to be dangled, and the button on the top of its head turns the toy on and off.
As its name suggests, the Octopus is waterproof, so I took it for a test swim in my bathtub. To be honest, I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do. I massaged myself all over starting at my neck and working down between my legs. It definitely tickled and turned me on, but once I got down there - I felt as if I needed something else. The octopus definitively got me wound up and going, but (maybe because it's so awkwardly - yet adorably - shaped and small) that was it.
The Screaming Octopus would be great for someone who is really, really sensitive or with a partner as foreplay because it does stimulate those erogenous zones, but besides it being really, really cute, that's about it.
