Not the greatest ryde everyone else makes it out to be.

This little copper plug is such an awesome color isn't it?! I was super excited to receive this toy in the mail because of all the great reviews and how rugged it is made out to be. The silicone is strong enough quality to withstand any silicone lube you put on it. Its super easy to clean, and the material is hypoallergenic making this toy a no-brainer for a gift or for sensitive people. It feels rubbery and stick but flexible enough to bend or squeeze a little.
My partner tends to agree with me, she loved the look of the plug and thought it was a good investment. She liked it enough to want to wear it out in public because she liked how short it was but how thick it was, shes a girth lady not a length lover. She also tends to enjoy using this one while she is drinking in public because she knows it will stay in place even if her mind is elsewhere.
The product works well and it does what it is intended for, it gives a nice full feeling and you can even heat it or cool it down for different sensations although it doesn't last long, it is a nice toy to try temperature play with if you don't have anything else. Neither of us have any complaints with the material. Both my partner and I have used it for anal activities and she has used it briefly in her pussy. She says its not large enough for enjoyment in there so keep that in mind ladies, this toy isn't really intended for vaginal use but who's to say you cant right? Experience
When i got it in the mail, I practically ripped it out of the box before the UPS man got off of the porch and cleaned it up with soap and water. It had no smell, and looked great. The color was so unique in a world of blacks and flesh colored toys, it really stands out even more so than the red ones. Using proper lube and hardly any patience it slid right in to my tight hole with hardly any effort. Its a comfortable toy for sure, and I like how the material is tough but remains fairly flexible. This is my gripe with this toy though. Sure its comfortable for short term use, but for long term it is NOT, and that really bothers me because that's what purpose I bought it for. The shape of the base is what bothers me, nothing else. It passed my cough test and every other test but the base seems to dig in to my tender skin back there. I can not wear this plug for longer than an hour or two and usually want it out within 30 minutes. I'm a rather bummed butt plug user. I have been looking for a plug similar in size that has a more comfortable base like this one. Pretty ends midnight blue plug I would say overall, its a great plug for the length of intercourse but otherwise it stays in my drawer. One last note, it does not show through on the outside of your pants.

I still don’t like this plug, I kept on trying to get used to it but couldn’t manage to find comfort using it. I ultimately gave it to my girl and she enjoys using it now.

The Ryder in Copper is so pretty. I'd love to see more toys offered in this colour. :) Is that likely to happen at all? I haven't seen it on any other listing. Is this colour discontinued?

Is this colour discontinued?Yes, it sure has been discontinued. It was weird - Copper was a slow seller, and we got some feedback from retailers that it wasn't at all popular. Then when we discontinued last Spring it got snapped up pretty quickly. I only have closeouts left, but we're hoping that by discontinuing Copper we'll have more time in the production schedule to pursue other colors.

Some, not all silicone lube will 'stick' to silicone material. I have read that some premium silicone lubes will work with some premium silicone materials. You can try some on the base and see, when I last tried it kinda etched the silicone material. (does that make sense) It left a indentation were the lube was.
That's the basics, Some of the other members can give a more technical answer. -
Some silicone lubes will bond to some silicones. This seems to be more of an issue the softer the silicone is, so toys like O2 and VixSkin will be more susceptible (makes sense, as the silicone has fewer crosslinks). Quality lubes seem to have less of a problem also, and it is likely that cheaper silicones might have more of a problem.
I have tested quality silicone lube on several quality silicone toys and did not notice a permanent problem, but (a) the toys developed "hives" that lasted for a few hours (was gone the next day) and (b) it's really hard to clean the silicone lube off of the toys, but it can be done. While this is purely subjective, but it seemed that the silicone lube wasn't as "lubey" on silicone toys. I don't use silicone lube on silicone toys anymore - it's just not worth the trouble.
