This bondage kit is for beginners. The restraints are easy enough to get out of if incorrectly placed underneath the bed. This was a bit frustrating for both my girlfriend and I. She was able to quickly undo the restraints because I didn't think about placement underneath the bed.

If a couple is looking to spice up things in the bedroom with a relatively sturdy light bondage kit, this is the best option. I have owned other bondage kits but have never had a place to restrain my girlfriend, making the whole bondage experience rather pointless. This under the bed restraint system works well due to its adjustability and quick-release (Velcro closure) safety features in case either partner gets uncomfortable. Always remember, with any sort of BDSM play, be sure to have a "safe-word" or a word that can be used to stop play immediately in case either partner becomes uncomfortable.

More advanced bondage users might be frustrated with the inability to tighten restraints to fit small wrist sizes. I have especially small wrists and found it very difficult to adjust the cuffs to fit my hands - although I suppose that the cuffs (Velcro closure) worked better than cuffs with notches...

The cuffs are designed very well, along with the restraint system. The restraint system is fully adjustable from a king size bed to a twin extra-long bed (often found in college dorms). After repeated uses (5), I believe that the product will last for at least 6 months to a year.

I believe that the product is well-made and is vegan (a major plus!). The cuffs are velvet-lined to create a comfortable fit for the receiving partner. This makes the cuffs feel sexy to the wearer. With a blindfold on, the sensations of the velvet along with my girlfriend's mouth were amazing. The blindfold heightened my senses and made the entire experience more erotic.

There is no smell with this product. The straps are made out of sturdy nylon (or a similar material) and the Velcro cuffs are lined with velvet. The velvet is soft.

The main feature that this bondage kit has, although it is $54.99 (a bit expensive), that it effectively ties your partner to the bed without need for D-rings or other complicated restraints or suspensions. The bondage kit is fully adjustable for a loose session, allowing your partner to thrash around or for your partner to be bound tight to the bed. This is the first bondage kit I've seen that allows you to tie a partner to a bed with an under-the-bed restraint system. Ingenious!

Both my girlfriend and I were able to tug on the restraints when we were bound to the bed without fear of breaking the restraint system; however, we both have weak arm muscles. Someone with stronger arm muscles may need to be mindful of the fact that this restraint system may not hold up to a lot of strong tugging.

My one complaint is that I have small wrists, and with this bondage kit the cuffs were difficult to adjust to an appropriate size. I suppose that this is better than the more expensive bondage cuffs that have notches instead of Velcro, but I was still disappointed by this fact.

Getting the restraints in place was a bit frustrating. The box claims that this can be done in "seconds", but it took me longer than 5 minutes to get everything in place (not including adjustment time when my girlfriend was tied up). This was frustrating. I wanted everything in place to immediately begin teasing her when I laid her down on the bed - but I had to break my stride/our play session and adjust restraints. How frustrating! I thought I had everything planned out -- but it turned out I didn't.

This product can be thrown into the washing machine and washed on a delicate cycle. Pretty cool if you ask me! Letting the product air-dry is the best option. The cuffs come off and detach from the actual framework of the bondage ropes to make them easier to wash.

The product is easy to care for, however, I will never be able to get it back into the packaging. I bought a small travel-size bag that I can put the ropes into when I have company over or don't want the kit set up. Right now, the bondage kit is on my bed for quick and easy use -- but then again, I do live alone. I suppose that the kit could carefully be stored and tucked underneath the bed, but if prying eyes or children are an issue I wouldn't recommend it.

There are 2 main ways that this product can be used. I wasn't sure that the second way listed on the box (a wide, eagle-spread position) would be comfortable so my partner and I decided to not use this position. I'll be sure to write a follow-up review when we decide to brave this bondage suggestion on the box!
