Perfect for a captive audience

This 4-point under-the-bed restraint system by Sportsheets might look like a beginner's BDSM tool, but don't let yourself be fooled! I know other users have said that they are not for serious players, and perhaps they aren't when right out of the box...but with a little imagination and a trip to your local hardware store, these sturdy Neoprene / Nylon tethers can be transformed into a stallion in your BDSM stables.

Installation of this restraint kit is very easy and very versatile! It can go under just your mattress as intended, or if you're like me and need them to be a bit more anchored in place, they can go under the box spring as well. They come with four Velcro cuffs (interchangeable between ankles and wrists) that aren't attached, so you can use any cuffs with D- or O-rings that you like with them.

I do realize that the rings and lobster claws are considered to be weak, but you can easily replace them with sturdier versions. Heavy-duty rings and lobster claws are inexpensive and can easily be purchased at pretty much any hardware store. Switching them out for me took less than 5 minutes and transformed this restraint set from a casual toy to a bondage set to be reckoned with. No one will be getting out of those any time soon, I can assure you!

Made of silky Neoprene / Nylon, these tethers are resistant to moisture and fraying, long-lasting, and are easy to clean. The way the straps connect under the bed allows for easy adjustments so that they can be used for more than just feet and wrists - try them at the waist with a bondage or chastity belt, at the legs with thigh cuffs, and much more!

They can slip, depending on the shape and size of your bed and the placement of the straps as they come up from under the mattress, but with some trial and error, that can be solved.

Their length fits most beds and poor, helpless victims perfectly. You can, though, purchase strap extensions which can be used in many ways to add length and possibilities to the set.

I have had my set for over 5 years and they are still going strong. I would not trade them for anything! When I am in the mood for bondage, these always play a part. It's a piece of cake to move the restraint system to other beds, and you can take them along to hotels during travel, as well.

The cuffs are a bit flimsy and are held on with Velcro - not something I'm fond of, so I don't use the set that comes with the tethers. For a beginner or someone that needs to be eased into restraints, though, the cuffs are comfortable and escape is possible in an emergency. Good enough for casual play!

I did modify my set (as I said before, the thinner rings and lobster claws are easily replaced with stronger counterparts), and I attached a set of screw eyes into the studs in the wall above the head of the bed to hang the ends of the tethers on before and during use.

Modification is completely optional, though! If you aren't planning to use these tethers for extremely heavy play, then you don't need to bother. The tethers are perfectly suitable for beginner or intermediate bondage the way they are right out of the package.

These tethers, after 5 years, have only ever needed light cleaning and have never torn or frayed in any way. I keep mine under my master king bed all the time, and they are used frequently and heavily without any problem. To clean them without removing them from the bed, you can use disinfectant or normal wet wipes, or paper towels and warm, soapy water. They can also be washed by hand in the sink, again with warm, soapy water.

To store them or travel with them, they roll up well and can easily fit into a small bag.

For the price, these are definitely some of the best bang for your buck that you can get when it comes to multi-point restraint systems. I consider myself a serious BDSM enthusiast, and while I know there are more "hard-core" products out there, these work perfectly well, especially when used in tandem with spreader bars and other BDSM toys.
