The Under the Bed Restraint System ties in (get it? ties in?) nicely with any type of bedroom setup. The comfortable, adjustable straps and generous 60" length of the four restraints as well as the connector strap provide plenty of fun and adequate restraint for beginners and advanced users alike, regardless of bed size.

extremely useful review
I have always wanted to try restraints, but never knew of anything less than a complicated setup; which, to be honest with you, I didn't feel like dealing with, even if the experience would prove to be a satisfying one. Then I saw that Eden Fantasys carries the Under the bed restraint system and knew I had to have it.

The Under the bed restraint system features four cuffs, each attached to a 60" length of strap, and a 60" connector strap, which is shaped like an H, rather than like the X I originally pictured when I first saw this product. Simply lay the connector strap across your box springs, and then attach the end of each nylon strap to one of the ends of the connector strap and you're good to go.

Depending upon your fancy, you can strap your partner down spread-eagle (picture the letter X) or with his or her arms pulled above and legs pulled straight down. The straps are five feet in length, so regardless of the size of your bed and your partner's height and comfort level, you should be able to adjust the restraints accordingly, and get down to business.

The nylon straps were smooth and non-chafing, but I especially love the cuffs. The cuffs are neoprene-lined inside and out, which provides a very comfortable, padded, even slightly luxurious fit around wrists and ankles. The neoprene is very soft and feels almost like fleece (though it doesn't trap and generate body heat the same way fleece is wont to do).

The cuffs themselves are also generous in length, so even larger users will be able to comfortably get their submissive kink on in the restraint system. Closure is provided via Velcro, which when pressed together creates a firm bond that I wasn't able to wiggle or wrench out of.

The Under the bed restraint system is, hands-down, the best type of restraint product I could imagine for couples to use. It's easy to set up, and its configuration allows you to easily stash away the restraints when not in use (see my video for a quick demonstration).

Ack! Someone please tell me they can hear the sound in this video. If not I'm going to have to re-do it.

I can hear the music during the EF intro, but no sound on the video. Great review, though! I'll come back and watch the video later.

I really want to try these. The cuffs look uncomfortable but you've mentioned there aren't so I can't wait.

Thank you for the good review.

Alas, if we didn't have a water bed, these would be OURS!

Sadly, this system cannot be used with a traditional "bag mattress" water bed system.

It's a shame. It looks like so much fun!

    • What creative ways can you guys come up with to use this system in conjunction with tethers and hip restraints.

We'll start with a simple one, Hog Tie: Simply have the person on the bed or floor on their belly and attach the wrist restraints to the their respective ankle restraints (from the behind, as in the ankles should meet the wrist around the lower back area)

What creative ways have you guys used this system?
    • I haven't got this one yet - it does look like fun though :-)

We just recently picked this item up. (Well, actually bf bought it and surprised me with it!!!)

We've only used it once so far and it's wonderful. Nothing creative yet, but maybe when we get the hang of it.

Are the standard bed restraint systems, such as 'under the bed', one size fits all for different beds? Could I use this on twin mattress and king mattress?
    • Well, Backseat Boohoo's verified review says she used it on an extra long twin and mine is set up on an extra tall queen. I know some folks with kings have found it a big small, though.

      Beat me to it!

For most beds, I think they would work. They worked on my extra long twin back in a dorm room, and they work on the full bed I have now. But I might draw the line at a king, yes, unless you want to buy an extension strap.
