Use

I have this product on my bed right now, and I love it! This is perfect for those who are a bit shy and new in bed with an experienced partner. I believe we bought this as a birthday present for my husband, and it gave us hours of pleasure and fun. I didn't know it at the time, but apparently I love to be tied up, as does my husband. This product is great because if you're like us and have little kids or people in and out of your bedroom and don't want them to know all of your naughty little secrets, you just tuck the straps under the mattress and, voila, no one even knows they are there. They are soft on the wrists, so if you squirm in delight, then you will mostly likely not be in pain or injured. I would say I love this item the most (besides the fact I can hide it with ease and not have to move my mattress) because you can do so much with it. Not only can you tie an appendage at each corner of the bed, but you can bind them in so many other ways, and you can blindfold them and use other items to pleasure them. They are fairly easy to clean. Oh, and I almost forgot that these work well for the big and tall as well. My hubby is 6'6", and we had NO issues tying him to the bed so I could have my way with him.

I would have to say the product is well made and the material is very strong. My husband has folded our mattress in half before using these strapped to his wrists (accidentally . . . too much pleasure!), and they did not break! They are adjustable to height. We've had ours for over a year now, and there is no fraying, discoloring, or stretching. I can't tell you about the smells because mine now smells of vanilla because that's what my hubby likes. However, I was impressed with how soft the cuffs were. I was afraid they would rub my wrists and hurt, but no, they were soft and almost velvetlike. The cuffs fit decent-sized men as well as very tall men. As I said before, my husband isn't exactly short . . .

Performance

This product well exceeded my expectations. I have bought various products from other stores that were just cheap and not worth what we paid for them. This is very reasonably priced and can last a long time. It is sturdy and durable. The use doesn't have to be limited to tying each appendage to the bed: you can flip your spouse to her belly and tie up her ankles to her wrists, or you can reposition the strap location under the mattress to change the location of certain body parts.

While it's great to know that this product is easy to care for...it'd be great to know how YOU care for your set and keep them from fraying and tearing. I am happy to see the product was a great success for you and your husband but I am still not completely sure why....if you catch my drift.
How is this product best used? Does it need to be used with a head/footboard combination? Other than the hog-tie is there another way you like to use these? Do you think they would be good for a more timid player who might feel the need to be able to escape them if fear becomes overwhelming?

We do nothing to keep ours from fraying. It is stored under our mattress where it has been since the day we purchased it. No, you do not need a head board just a good ole mattress or air mattress. You can link hands together, feet together, hands at thighs , there are just to many positions to list on how you may use this product. I always suggest partners that are trying new things to have a SAFE word! This is very important and requires a lot of trust. Being tied up can be very scary... we use "pineapple" because it is not usually associated with our sex life and if it's said we tend to laugh so hard that everything comes to a stop anyway. I hope I was able further assist you in your questions.

Thank you for the review. More info on the set would be really great. How many cuffs come with this set? How do the cuffs close; Velcro, buckles, lockable etc? What is the smallest and largest wrist or ankle these cuffs would fit? How long are the tethers and are they adjustable? What material are the cuffs and tethers made of; leather, rubber, silk, something else?

@ P'Gell it comes with 4 cuffs, velcro, yes the tethers are adjustable, my hubby is 6'6" and 275 and these cuffs fit him comfortable. I'm super skinny and these cuffs are snug on me.

I am not interested in the mentor program had some friends do it and not like it and I have noticed there are some really rude people on here and I would rather not work under someone like that. Thank you though..

    • What creative ways can you guys come up with to use this system in conjunction with tethers and hip restraints.

      We'll start with a simple one, Hog Tie: Simply have the person on the bed or floor on their belly and attach the wrist restraints to the their respective ankle restraints (from the behind, as in the ankles should meet the wrist around the lower back area)

      What creative ways have you guys used this system?
    • I haven't got this one yet - it does look like fun though :-)

      We just recently picked this item up. (Well, actually bf bought it and surprised me with it!!!)

      We've only used it once so far and it's wonderful. Nothing creative yet, but maybe when we get the hang of it.

      Are the standard bed restraint systems, such as 'under the bed', one size fits all for different beds? Could I use this on twin mattress and king mattress?
    • Well, Backseat Boohoo's verified review says she used it on an extra long twin and mine is set up on an extra tall queen. I know some folks with kings have found it a big small, though.

      Beat me to it!

      For most beds, I think they would work. They worked on my extra long twin back in a dorm room, and they work on the full bed I have now. But I might draw the line at a king, yes, unless you want to buy an extension strap.
