Nobody knows it's RIGHT there!

To sum it up - BUY THIS! It's our dirty little secret. When friends come in our room, they can be standing right next to it and have NO idea it's there. They can sit down on our bed, not even guessing that they could be strapped down to it in under a minute! I freakin' love it!

Pros:

Cons:
I'm really having a hard time coming up with ANY cons. I guess the velcro is really noisy.

Use

This is so great for anyone who is into bondage or even just curious about it. It's super versitile, so you can get a lot of use out of it. It's user-friendly with the safe clasps that attach the velcro-closure cuffs to the restraints. The bonded doesn't have to fear being actually trapped. Of course, if you're actually into that type of BDSM, then this may seem a little mild! I'm looking forward to trying a lot more variations of play with this product.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

The design is great. It's well made like everything I've tried from Sportsheets. It's so non-threatening, it makes a great starter for someone who's still nervous about BDSM. The cuffs are very comfortable and completely adjustable. They close with velcro and have no parts made of anything rigid to rub your wrists or ankles. The cuffs would fit just about anyone and they can be used alone as well as with the restraint harness. The restraints are even completely adjustable, so it fits any bed!

Performance

It is definitely everything its cracked up to be. We honestly don't get to use it nearly often enough. If you are creative you can find new ways to use this. The fully adjustable straps make it easy to pick comfortable positions, and the cuffs can be switched around quickly and easily. I've got a couple ideas for this, but its gotta come off the bed first....I'll let you know how it goes!

Care and Maintenance

I'd say this is basically maintenance-free. We opened the package, put it on the bed and that's where it has stayed. It did take two of us to put it under the mattress, but we have a king-size bed, so it's a little heavy. We just unhook the cuffs when we are done and stick them in a drawer. The harness just tucks in under the mattress like its not even there. If the cuffs get sticky or funky, they just wipe clean. If they get extra funky they can just as easily go right in the washer.

Packaging

It came in a small, tasteful box. The flat straps wrap up flat, so it takes up very little space if you need to store it. I can't say for sure if it even came with instructions. It was ready to install straight out of the box and pretty self-explanatory. If we had kept the box, I'm sure it would've fit right back in for travel or storage.

I'm really turned on by BDSM, and getting this restraint system has given me and my hubby a safe, comfy way to explore a new fetish. It's one of my top three favorites. Top two favorites. It's my FAVORITE non-toy, by far!

Experience

Like I said, I don't think we use it nearly enough. I absolutely love it. I want to restrain my husband, but we havent tried that scenario yet. However, we did get, well, I guess let's call it a "third opinion" from a friend of ours. She had no complaints either! It definitely added to the overall experience.

It is a decent restraint system but if your bed is larger then a double, it does limit options or unfortunately become somewhat useless.

  • Under the bed restraint system
    • What creative ways can you guys come up with to use this system in conjunction with tethers and hip restraints.

      We'll start with a simple one, Hog Tie: Simply have the person on the bed or floor on their belly and attach the wrist restraints to the their respective ankle restraints (from the behind, as in the ankles should meet the wrist around the lower back area)

      What creative ways have you guys used this system?
    • I haven't got this one yet - it does look like fun though :-)

      We just recently picked this item up. (Well, actually bf bought it and surprised me with it!!!)

      We've only used it once so far and it's wonderful. Nothing creative yet, but maybe when we get the hang of it.

    • Well, Backseat Boohoo's verified review says she used it on an extra long twin and mine is set up on an extra tall queen. I know some folks with kings have found it a big small, though.

      Beat me to it!

      For most beds, I think they would work. They worked on my extra long twin back in a dorm room, and they work on the full bed I have now. But I might draw the line at a king, yes, unless you want to buy an extension strap.
