somewhat useful review
My partner and I got these straps because our bed sits on the floor. I know it is a little bachelor pad style but our mattress is so thick it sits as high as a bed on a bed frame. Therefore we had nothing to attach our straps too. We found these and the heavenly lights and songs started. "Ahhhhhhh" My husband looked at me grabbed them and said "Perfect let's go".

They came completely put together strait from the box so that was really convenient. The box also has pictures on it for easy installation. We did not install them the moment we got home but when his lazy but finally got the strength the pick our mattress up and slide them under. He did not have an issue with installing them. I simple pulled each strap to a corner and he puts the bed down. I then adjusted them to the proper position. Now I have a two foot thick Queen mattress so nearly like having them under a king sized bed. I honestly believe this will work under any size big or small.

The way the straps lay under the mattress there is a long one in the middle with a ring that has two straps branching off at the top and the bottom. You can choose to have the straps come up over the top and bottom of the bed or on the sides of the bed. It truly depends on what "position" you are going for. But they easily slide to the desired position.

The cuffs themselves are soft and almost furry like and are held on by a good strong Velcro. It says in the overview its neoprene but it's not. If you enlarge the photo you can clearly see its just fuzzy cloth. Not the strongest thing you can bind someone with but we have never had an issues with them coming off due to the strong Velcro. I wish these were neoprene it's a great strong material too and it blocks out dirt and sweat! I know there are higher grade and stronger straps out there but these worked perfect for us. We aren't extra violent on them. We wipe ours clean with a wash cloth because I do not want to break down the Velcro in the washing machine.

The adjustment straps are really easy to adjust. Maybe a little too easy because if you do pull hard enough they will loosen on their own. My husband and I equally use these so it depends on who's pulling whether they slip. It's a tight, slick woven nylon instead of the thickened grade you normally see. So the straps move very easily. The cuffs are attached to the adjustment straps by two O rings and an easy open cinch clasp. They seem to be "average" clasps that you could buy anywhere. They are metal though so I don't see them breaking. Makes for easy cleaning and easy storage. You can take the cuffs off and store them so they do not get dusty and like me trip all over them.

We have not bothered moving these from under our bed because we like to use them spur of the moment without have to prep everything. But so far I've tripped on them more than I've used them. Either way I think them make an awesome addition to any couples collection. A great starter to your bondage fantasies.

I spruced this up a bit with more details. Let me know if it's better. Thanks

It is a lot better. Smile There's a couple grammar and spelling errors I'd love to see fixed that would make it flow better, but it is better.

From what I can see of your review, I'd love for you to describe the parts a little more thoroughly. For example, how the buckles and clasps and everything that hold this product together? Do they look sturdy or do they look like they will break soon? Also, I'd love a paragraph just describing how these things go *on* a bed. It just seems downright confusing to me.

I actually am wanting to buy some of these for my bed, but I just love to have my information straight before I buy, so those are some things I'd add to the review. Smile I hope that helps a bit.

    • What creative ways can you guys come up with to use this system in conjunction with tethers and hip restraints.

We'll start with a simple one, Hog Tie: Simply have the person on the bed or floor on their belly and attach the wrist restraints to the their respective ankle restraints (from the behind, as in the ankles should meet the wrist around the lower back area)

What creative ways have you guys used this system?
    • I haven't got this one yet - it does look like fun though :-)

We just recently picked this item up. (Well, actually bf bought it and surprised me with it!!!)

We've only used it once so far and it's wonderful. Nothing creative yet, but maybe when we get the hang of it.

Are the standard bed restraint systems, such as 'under the bed', one size fits all for different beds? Could I use this on twin mattress and king mattress?
    • Well, Backseat Boohoo's verified review says she used it on an extra long twin and mine is set up on an extra tall queen. I know some folks with kings have found it a big small, though.

      Beat me to it!

For most beds, I think they would work. They worked on my extra long twin back in a dorm room, and they work on the full bed I have now. But I might draw the line at a king, yes, unless you want to buy an extension strap.
