VixSkin, girthy, realistic feeling, realistic looking, good weight; what’s not to like with this toy? Nothing really. The Lone Star by Vixen creations is a great dildo in every way.

When I first opened the plastic container it comes in, I was a little shocked by just how girthy it was. 1 7/8 inch diameter didn’t seem that big in my mind, but holding it in my hand I realized that this dildo would provide a very nice full feeling when used. Just squeezing the cock was fun. I could feel the initial softness and the firm core underneath. The shaft can be bent some and is quite pliable but rigid enough for easy insertion.

I originally bought this for role playing with my husband, but alas, it was too large to fit in my harness properly. I can get it into my harness having two snaps done up, but the bottom snap won’t reach over the balls. I have my eye on the sexy Syd  (it can take up to a 2 inch dildo, where as my Jaguar can only fit a 1 ¾ inch), but until then there will be no actual pegging done. I can’t say as this upsets my husband any, as his reaction when seeing it was “tell me again, why we bought something this big?” Even using two snaps, this dildo looks great in a harness. When using this for penetration, lube is a must. VixSkin is silicone, so remember no silicone lube on this one. It didn’t take much, just a couple drops of water based lube and it slid into my vagina quite effortlessly. The feeling was full, but never painful. The material has some really nice give that makes it feel great when squeezed on. The depth was perfect for me, being 6 inches of insertable length. I almost never finish without clitoral stimulation, but with this toy I was able to. This toy doesn’t vibrate, but it can if you want it to. If you have a powerful vibrator lying around, just plant in on the base. My Hitachi worked great for this purpose, and the dildo carried the vibrations nicely.

For clean up, Before and After toy cleaner works great. If you plan on sharing, I recommend sterilizing this toy by boiling for 3 minutes, 10% bleach solution, or tossing it in the dishwasher (top rack, no soap). This toy picks up lint worse than regular silicone, so I store mine in a plastic bag. This not only keeps it clean, but it prevents it from touching other silicone toys and melting together.
