VixSkin, girthy, realistic feeling, realistic looking, good weight; what’s not to like with this toy? Nothing really. The Lone Star by Vixen creations|Lone star dildo by Vixen Creations is a great dildo in every way.

When I first opened the plastic container it comes in, I was a little shocked by just how girthy it was. 1 7/8 inch diameter didn’t seem that big in my mind, but holding it in my hand I realized that this dildo would provide a very nice full feeling when used. Just squeezing the cock was fun. I could feel the initial softness and the firm core underneath. The shaft can be bent some and is quite pliable but rigid enough for easy insertion.

I originally bought this for role playing with my husband, but alas, it was too large to fit in my harness properly. I can get it into my harness having two snaps done up, but the bottom snap won’t reach over the balls. I have my eye on the sexy Syd|Syd Double strap harness  (it can take up to a 2 inch dildo, where as my Jaguar|Vegan jaguar harness can only fit a 1 ¾ inch), but until then there will be no actual pegging done. I can’t say as this upsets my husband any, as his reaction when seeing it was “tell me again, why we bought something this big?” Even using two snaps, this dildo looks great in a harness. It didn’t take much, just a couple drops of water based lube and it slid into my vagina quite effortlessly. The feeling was full, but never painful. The material has some really nice give that makes it feel great when squeezed on. The depth was perfect for me, being 6 inches of insertable length. I almost never finish without clitoral stimulation, but with this toy I was able to. This toy doesn’t vibrate, but it can if you want it to. If you have a powerful vibrator lying around, just plant in on the base. My Hitachi worked great for this purpose, and the dildo carried the vibrations nicely.

For clean up, Before and After toy cleaner|Before and after toy cleaner works great. If you plan on sharing, I recommend sterilizing this toy by boiling for 3 minutes, 10% bleach solution, or tossing it in the dishwasher (top rack, no soap). This toy picks up lint worse than regular silicone, so I store mine in a plastic bag. This not only keeps it clean, but it prevents it from touching other silicone toys and melting together.

I love this dildo as much today as I did the first time I used it. I am amazed at the squishy feeling of the softer outer layer, and just how good it feels when squeezed on. While this dildo seemed thick and intimidating to me at first, I have gotten used to the girth and use it for anal play as well (I sterilize in between of course). There is something appealing about a hard rigid material when it comes to anal play, but this dildo proves that softness can be just as amazing in the backdoor as in the cunt. The VixSkin material gives nicely, and makes inserting this 1 7/8 inch diameter dick much more comfortable than I first expected. While anal play should never be painful, a little stretching can be uncomfortable, and that is what I was expecting. I must say it was a pleasant surprise ;) The core is plenty firm enough for vaginal penetration, but when it comes to anal play it could use a little more stiffness. The initial insertion was a little tricky because of it, but once in, the experience was amazing. The texture was more easily felt in my sensitive rear end than in my vagina, and it made me think I may have to invest in more VixSkin dildos|Raquel - VixSkin dildo for anal use. This dildo remains my favorite for solo play, and I use it over 70% of the time. This and the Hitachi are my power duo. When something else fails to take me all the way, or when I just want a fast and hassle free orgasm, I reach for my Lone Star and my Hitachi. I doubt anything will take their places next to my bed.
